  1. Were those last three games just a dream???
  2. too bad Jack was out of gas there.
  3. meh period compared to the last 3 games. Hope they turn it on for 2 and 3.
  4. Jack wants the puck tonight. Good sign.
  5. Wrong guy to go head first into the boards.
  6. That's Reuben, like the sandwich.
  7. Dougie nails the anthems again. Can you imagine not making a mistake at your job for 7 straight years (or forever long as Doug has been singing)? The guy is money.
  8. Antipin and Falk in, and Bool-you and Gorges out, make the Sabres a better team.
  9. And they have been much better at getting the puck out of the zone.
  10. Just like an ill-advised business trip I once had, "No matter what happens from here, nobody can take these 4 days away from us."
  11. Sabres playing smart. Who ARE these guys????
  12. Always enjoy an Airplane reference.
  13. It only takes Jack 6 strides to go end to end. Amazing. Very Paul Coffey like.
  14. Hard not to keep watching. Like a kid with a new toy.
  15. You're right. I even forgot they were on the team.
  16. How many times have we seen that this year going the other way.
  17. Falk isn't a bad 6-7 D-man.
  18. Yep. Why is that not reviewable?
  19. Hopefully they don't think the PP is easy now. They have to work at it.
  20. Jack not very noticeable yet.
  21. Can't be, whistle would have blown when Canuck touched it. Sorry PA, too much Makers Mark.
  22. What's Sam been drinking lately. He needs to share.
  23. I like your thinking but I think the new philosophy is to give the newbies at least 1 year in the AHL even though they may be ready (e.g. Guhle). So Middlestadt and Pu are probably not on the team.
  24. At this point in the season, I think JBOTT is taking a big risk in not pulling the trigger on Kane. All it takes is one shot from the point to break Kane's foot and the team gets nothing. I'd rather JBOTT get what he can than nothing. Why can't JBOTT create his own trade deadline for Kane. He could tell all GMs today that at noon on Feb 1, he is trading Kane for the best offer. Then take the best offer. True, a star player on another team could break a foot as easily as Kane after Feb 1, and that would have potentially raised Kane's value, but the risk isn't worth it IMO. JBOTT may be getting too cute for the teams own good.
