Hope Tank is running very low. A win tonight would do a lot to fill it back up.

Can't argue with any of this. Tonight was a tough night with 3 bad bounces of our guys. But the Sabres did not quit, scored a goal in the last 2 minutes and had their chance to tie it on the road. During the streak, the puck luck was going our way, but we're not too far off. We have the same weaknesses we had earlier, but now it caught up with us.

I want to agree because I've been faithfully watching for 49 years. I trust JBOT and try to enjoy the games now and let him do the worrying.

Most people thought we may challenge for a playoff spot at the beginning of the season. So far, we are. JBOT said he's not going to mortgage the future for a one year run. We're gonna have to make due with what we got.

Seasons ebb and flow. I think it's good for the Sabres to be on the playoff line. Builds mental toughness. I hate it as a fan, but I think it will help in the long run. Got to keep perspective.

I say he does it like Danny Gare did back in the day with a hat trick in the last game to get 50. BTW, in that same game, Rick Martin needed one goal to get to 50 and didn't get it.

Would really like to see Mitts score two games in a row to build his scoring confidence.

Tage is really coming along. Confidence is a tricky thing. However , my impression is that Tage now feels as though he belongs in the NHL. Every game he seems to get at least 1 grade A chance. Thus far he has just missed a few. I think they will start going in more frequently in the future. You always hear goals scorers say that they would be concerned if they stopped get chances. Tage is certainly getting his chances. Hopefully in time, Tage is the "steal" of the ROR trade.
