  1. Wrong. We don’t have wingers, defensemen, or goalies either.
  2. "If this wasn't freakin astro-turf, I'd dig a grave here for myself"
  3. So to put it another way, we've made the playoffs four times since Hasek left. Yikes!
  4. I am more impressed that he drove the slot with assertiveness, and didn’t fumble the puck. That type of play is as rare as a hens tooth around these parts. The fact he went between his legs at full speed is just absurd.
  5. I could get behind a trade for Gibson. His stats aren’t great the past two years, but every time I see him, he’s stellar. Anaheim is a much better trade partner for us, if we are looking to deal Eichel. Zegras and Comtois are enticing.
  6. Great hockey man. You will be missed Mucks.
  7. Rocky Balboa was actually a good movie. I'm pretty sure it did well in the theatres too. If you want to ridicule a Rocky movie....please choose Rocky V. I'm still entertained by it, but its a pretty bad movie overall.
  8. Uwe Krupp might get upset. :)
  9. Ummmm...what in the hell?????
  10. An upgrade to Hutton, and he was pretty solid in the playoffs.
  11. Korpisalo would be an exciting acquisition.
  12. There is a Bob Corkum joke in here somewhere
  13. Think positively my friend. But I definitely know what you mean.
  14. Amen brother.
  15. I am absolutely sick to my core right now. Ducky was my hero growing up. I modeled everything after him. F 2020!!!!!!!!
  16. "Alright boys, this is how you chip it off the boards to clear the zone. I want to see low risk plays out there!"--Matt Ellis
  17. Thorny and Liger’s heads are going to explode....steer clear of the blast radius. I feel the same way as you as of right now, but let’s hope we are terribly wrong with our hot take. I also agree with your other hot takes. A decade of losing will have this impact on you.
  18. Murray tossed away 1st and 2nd rounders, thus the narrative.
  19. As many have stated, Boston is not a very good trade partner for us on many fronts. Since Pastranak is there only "star" forward under 30, he would have to be the centerpiece coming back, with ++++ being added for any GM to consider. As Liger stated, I would not only want to win the deal, but also break Boston in the process. Even if Eichel discretely wanted to be traded, I would prefer something like Turgeon for LaFontaine years ago as you suggest.
  20. The hypothetical offer wouldn't even get me to pick up the phone. Sure, I'll take Beecher and Debrusk, but you are adding Pastranak to that haul, and I'll flip you Risto for Charlie McAvoy. If I'm nice, I'll even throw a salary cap dump like Okposo or Skinner in there for a 1st rounder.
  21. Excellent detective work here! This guy wasn't even on my radar (due to ignorance on the player), but I have to say, you bring up some compelling points and he shows pretty well.
  22. All true. But I wouldn’t say Andy-chuk was a bad skater in a “technical” sense. He was just slow as molasses. Best pair of hands I have ever seen though. Brad Miller was a horrible skater. To this day, I’m not even sure he could skate without a few pushes.
  23. They were big favorites going into the following lockout year. Beating the Rangers in the opener was considered a torch passing at the time. But, yes, the 1993-94 team gets forgotten as a really solid team.
