Surprisingly I have never gotten the flu even tho I don't get flu shots either. I do take 10,000 IU's of Vitamin D to ensure my Vitamin D levels are in the good range(mid 70s) year round and it is no surprise that flu season occurs when people's natural Vitamin D levels are at their lowest point of the year in the winter due to shorter days and weak sunlight.

Right before that he kinda of was bent and hit awkwardly along the boards while fighting for a puck...definitely seemed like something that could have caused that type of issue, especially if he was already dealing with that coming into the game.

Didn't appear it was the butt, more of the lumbar region on the lower back right above that area. Most likely a muscle strain or back spasms.

The man is talking temps in C not F. It's cold, but not THAT cold. And if you want cold, you need to go no further than the upper Adirondacks near Lake Placid... tomorrow the high/low is supposed to be -9/-25 F not C, and wind on top of that making wind chills 45-50 below zero.

I'll bet Quinn has one of those before the season is over...he has been flashing more and more the last few games. Along with Tuch, he was the best player on the ice for them last night.

Gonna be more lessons to learn. But they will get better from them. Looked like back spasms or perhaps an abdominal strain...10 days of rest coming at a great time for him. Hopefully he skips the All-star game to rest

Quinn is starting to feel it...I predict a big surge for him over the back half of the year. Easily the best player on the ice for the Sabres tonight along with Tuch.

Sabres basically have to play their best game against the Canes and Bruins to have a chance and that wasn't close to it tonight. Also, could we just request the rest of our games be on the road?

Going to have to beat the Canes and the refs tonight. Hard enough to beat the Canes let alone when they can do whatever they want and not get any penalties.

Maybe if they just held or interfered with the Hurricane players there would be no penalties.

Sabres D zone coverage was terrible obviously...their passing was atrocious...but that doesn't mean Carolina should be able to just do whatever they want either.

How are there no penalties against Carolina? Every time you turn around they are holding one of the Sabre players. Screw them, skate their old ass legs into the ground in the 3rd.

They are a very good team...looks like they may have some tired old legs tho having to work so hard late in the game and having to travel.
