Pretty much what I expected tonight. They beat them once at home didn't expect it to happen again...Boston is on another planet from every other team in the NHL this year.

That still doesn't say...was the asking price of the Sabres the same as it was of the Sens? I'd bet not, and they wanted a prospect rather than one of those picks and KA wasn't going for it. With the Sens, the Coyotes can't ask for what they don't have.

They likely wanted a prospect Adams wasn't budging on. Teams are going to ask for different things from different teams. Ottawa's prospect pool is pretty bare so basically all they had to offer were picks.

Yesterday listening to the radio might have been the worst Sabres broadcast I ever heard, especially in the 2nd period...you literally had no idea what was going on for chunks of time because Ray and Dunleavy were talking about something completely unrelated to what was happening while the play was going on. Not sure what was worse, the Sabres play in that game or the radio broadcast...they were both brutal and unacceptable. I was actually wondering if they were high or drunk or something because it was so much worse than what it normally is...just rambling on about nothingness.

They SHOULD, but I am not sure...they play the toughest remaining schedule in the NHL and while they are really good at catching up to teams by putting together winning streaks, they seem to puke all over themselves when they actually catch up to those teams and are in position to pass them. It's like when there is no pressure and they are just playing to try and catch up they are really good, but once the pressure is on and they put themselves in position to actually pass them and enter a playoff position, they fall flat on their face with some of the worst, most uninspired hockey you could ask for...happened 3 or 4 times now...almost like they WANT to fall behind again so they can have fun chasing.

Toronto's goaltending is just fine...Samsonov has a 2.30 GAA and .918 save percentage.

Not sure what's worse the way the Sabres are playing or the Sabres broadcast... Dunleavy and Ray are brutal tonight...talking about nonsense while play is going on and you have no clue what's going on.

JFC, are we sure the Isles are only playing 82 games this year? They don't have another 3 or 4 tacked onto their schedule? Literally every night we play they are playing too.

Think that's a paper transaction since he isn't starting nor the backup tonight. Been doing it for weeks with the 3rd goalie now.

People who are borrowing money to pay their rent every month shouldn't be attending Sabres games. If $78 is a lot of money to someone, the problem isn't the price of tickets, the problem is they don't make enough money.

The hope is Stillman goes back to playing the way he did in Florida when he played in a similar system to the one Granato uses.

Josh Bloom had a near zero chance of making the team so I guess trading for a depth D Man isn't terrible...

Also the 3rd year in a row they have done this with him, so it could just be like a bonus they give him.

Amerks are pretty much a shoe-in for the playoffs unless they fall apart. 5 points ahead of the Laval Rocket, the team in the last playoff position with 2 games in hand, and 1 and 2 games in hand on the two teams who are 1 point better than they are currently. Kulich is starting to turn it up

Looking at the calendar the Bruins are listed twice at both 7 and 7:30pm and then on March 4th we have a listing for Philadelphia and Tampa Bay. Pretty sure we can only play one of those teams...

I just think Hino fits better with the way the Sabres play. He is a fast skater...Asplund is just kinda there...decent in all areas but nothing really stands out.
