I think at this point if they dont make the playoffs it will be a little disappointing. Especially if its not due to key injuries.

Over many years absolutely it isn't. Over a single year it most definitely is. Every year in sports you see teams that seemingly win almost every close game they play, whether its luck or them being confident or knowing how to play, they end well above normal expected wins for those situations...
