  1. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while Even a ###### hockey team wins a game once in a while
  2. He has played poorly under RR, maybe he is just getting back on track
  3. ATM we have 15 mil in cap space to sign like 5 players, and only Cody will really require a large upgrade in cash HOWEVER, I WOULD DO WHAT SHERO DID WITH STAAL AT THE DEADLINE AND MAKE AN INFORMAL OFFER OF AN EXTENSION, IF THEY REFUSE SAID OFFER, TRADE THEM AT THE draft
  4. Until they went through their angsty rebellious phase... Back on topic - I haven't really noticed him out there, but not in a bad way, he seems to be playing well enough Yeah but it's only down for one season and they are under contract for that season and we should have room fro them
  5. Pretty good period. I don't Pominville to go
  6. I can't see the game, but why did Coho have the least ice time? He is on track for less than 9 minutes...
  7. Good thing Hodgson is getting 4th line minutes. I hated how productive he was being, he was ruining our tanking
  8. He is 23 and on track for a normal 40 point season - he is also very good defensively. Not bad really, If we got him + picks etc.
  9. Chris Higgins has been resigned to a 4 year deal ($10 mil)
  10. Talks must not be very far along
  11. Get it right
  12. Mike Schopp ‏@Schopptalk47m Columbus, St. Louis, Anaheim, Los Angeles, New Jersey, Washington, Winnipeg, Montreal. -- Jason Pominville's wants-to-stay here list.
  13. So a second and two fourth liners - not bad
  14. That might not be a bad idea - play him as a 7th man
  15. It's the trade deadline. This is the one time of year it is both acceptable and fun to go through motions of these random rumours
  16. Hockey Insider now has Pommers and Gionta involved in a trade
  17. Yeah, and management were renowned for treating the players well and providing a place players wanted to stay - i think it really helps when you have stars staying their whole life with a franchise (scarily they came so so so close to drafting Bure in the 5th round, someone convinced them not to, then they were gonna take him in the 6th round and Vancouver nabbed him three sports above them)
  18. The journeyman in round 3 and the 4th line scrub in round 4 mostly, the AHLer in round 1 also helped and the water boy in round 6 made a pretty complete team
  19. The fact he is 5'6', only 4 years younger than Pommers, and far worse defensively, and puts up less points
  20. Check the Red Wings '89 draft ;)
