  1. What clues were in DR's presser?
  2. I'd imagine around McNabb area
  3. Clowe has 2 goals and an assist already
  4. By all accounts he was the linch pin holding the team together for the last 10 games or so
  5. Ah thanks. I'm surprised Foligno or Hodgson wasn't put on the list - guess no room
  6. What makes you eligible for the playoffs?
  7. The cap is not an issue. The payroll is not an issue. So if there is no market for Stafford then he is better on this team. Stafford scoring 30 points at $4million is better than a second round pick (as long as cap or payroll isnt an issue). I expect BIG moves at the draft. Today is a day where you sell off pending UFAs, the draft is where hockey trades happen - and once the draft order is set picks become a more tradeable commodity Either way, good bye big 3, hello rebuild
  8. Still intrigued by the Wash thing, even if we aren't invovled
  9. Is there a time set for either GM to meet with their press?
  10. If they are gone, I think that makes Kaleta our best RW :P
  11. I really hope this is true
  12. Assets: Owns very good playmaking skills, as well as the potential to play a sound two-way game. Is also versatile enough to line up either at center or wing. Has a strong lower base and is adept at protecting the puck. Flaws: Needs to adapt to and perfect his skills for the North American game. Also needs to make better use of his shot, so as to keep opposing defenders more honest. Lacks consistency when it comes to his physical game. Career Potential: Versatile playmaker with upside. Hardly all that amazing... Two seconds and a third Fire Darcy
  13. Good bye Vanek, Good bye Miller, Good bye Pommers. Thanks for all the memories
  14. Urgh...two mehish prospects
  15. I'd rather trade Vanek - he is injured too much Bishop got a big return - good work Sens
  16. http://popstreams.eu/stream2.html TSN stream
  17. Pierre Mcguire brown noses the Pens...it is pathetic
  18. First trade of the day - wooooo Time for the other 28 teams to do something
  19. 1:40 to go, no actual trades - 3 nothing ones
  20. it really depends what you get back for him
  21. Well this is a boring trade deadline
  22. He doesn't have a NTC, he just wouldn't report
  23. http://www.grantland.com/blog/the-triangle/post/_/id/56861/your-nhl-trade-deadline-day-primer Amusing article of the types of deadline trades
  24. Sigh. Ok, I apologise for expecting people to use their own brains. Vanek and Pominville both have 10 points in the last 18 games, thus neither of these guys are a) carrying the team b) living up to previous standards This is troubling because we have two real opportunities should we want to, to trade them - the draft and the deadline - and one of these opportunities is today. If both these guys are going to want $7 million+ salaries in an extension, is it better to trade them off now/at the draft? Rather than pay them for mediocre performance Neither guy has played under any other coach than Ruff (in the NHL) before this season, and their adaption to a new coach has not been smooth. If both are going to command big salaries but have less than stellar ppg then we should trade them off. Alternatively it could be they don't want to play for Ruff-less Sabres. The reason we have heard about Pommers is because he has the limited NTC, but Vanek doesn't. Maybe Regier is actively shopping both. Will be an interesting day.
