  1. Ah sorry, misunderstood what you meant. Thought you meant has it been the case where 1 and 2 were a step up from the pack
  2. Hall and Sequin
  3. Same with 1st line centres
  4. They're on track for 55 points. We got 52 last year
  5. The ceremony wasn't spectacular, but I assume that was by request. Most organisations go for the Lidstrom-Red Wings style (which was a great retirement one). Plus it kind of loses something that he left Buffalo 14 years ago. That is not really anyone's fault, but still odd (basically anyone 25 and below in the stadium may not remember him play)
  6. Boyes...Leino...Hodgson Something happens to one players offence here
  7. Yet he put up 3 points (a goal and two primary assists). I'm happy for him to not stand out in the NHL then Grigorenko, whilst admittedly 1 year older, has more points per game than Foresberg had in the AHL last year. I'm not saying he'll be that good, but its nice that he is playing well
  8. Hasek's Heros are selling a limited copy of this picture (signed): https://scontent-b-lhr.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xfp1/v/t1.0-9/10247214_10152926634952954_873497080505716106_n.jpg?oh=99af90aa68514237289578f5a83b8ef1&oe=5532CBA9 sabres.com/hasek Should anyone be interested (sorry if someone else linked this)
  9. That would put us 3rd worst in last years standings. Just enough to miss out on the two studs. Sounds about right
  10. Oilers fans are lustily eyeing up OEL as a return for Hall
  11. The trade would almost certainly be a Myers-Hall base. They need D - he is our best. Add to that some help at centre for them - they would probably want Girgensons. But you could probably barter down to Grigorenko. Add in two firsts to sweeten the deal for them. Myers, Grigo, NYI 1st, STL 1st for Hall That might be close. We might need to throw in a few bits more - someone like Carrier for example. Alternatively they may want Enroth Myers, Grigo, Enroth, STL 1st, Buf 2nd for Hall and 3rd
  12. Because of how ###### the Metro division is, there is only one wild card spot available - the other should be wildcard spot is taken by the third slot of the metro division. We are currently closer to the playoffs (7 points) than we are to being last in the league (8 points). The Oilers are getting the last spot. You don't recover from this season - their goalies are being run over, screaming at the players on the bench and generally losing faith in their skaters. They don't play as a team or defend one another, and multiple times seem to lack basic awareness of who to cover on the ice. They are going to march to 30th, and probably 4th 1st overall pick in 5 years
  13. Ennis, Grigo or Myers would have been our player options
  14. Crosby has half as many points as the entire Sabres team - 23 points for one player, vs 46 for 23 24 to 46 now
  15. Yes, but that trilogy repeatedly tells the tale of how a lazy and outclassed team achieves victory when the officials turn a blind eye to flagrant rule violation
  16. Marchant was Ennis' man on the play. Myers took his man into the boards
  17. I'm annoyed. I actually wanted the streak more than the goal :P
  18. No the fourth line is for your organisation's top prospect
  19. CoHo is really holding this team back
  20. And Chad. The Amerks have three NHL-capable D-men, no reason Zad would be up here unless he is being forced to by the KHL
  21. Do Boston do this? I thought they had him at the point He is also 2 stone heavier than Myers, so would be much harder to move. Most of Myer's height would be wasted and he isn't that heavy
  22. hes got to get away from playing cute and play more like a power forward That was what Nolan said about Foligno after praising his performance last night. I love it.
  23. Weber vs Perry alone in the slot should not be something that happens. Not really Weber's fault - i thought he played it well. The difference in skill just showed
  24. Gorges and Pysyk too. Weber is a fine 6th
