I don’t wish to be an eyore, but the win hasn’t really excited me. I feel like an abused partner, unable to be excited about the good because I know the real bad is around the corner.
hopefully this year I am wrong
So including injuries, is our defence currently:
Dahlin, Risto, Miller, Nelson, Gilmour, Scandella, Jokiharju, Pilut, McCabe, Bogosian, Montour?
So that's 11 players, with Borgen in the A
So is our aim to acquire every LW in the NHL?
I like the signing, but we are very crowded in that position now - what do we have 10 of them now?
Skinner
Johansson
Vesey
Sheary
Olofsson
Girgensons
Wilson
Rodrigues
Smith
Elie
I don't want any of these guys playing 4C, let alone 2C.
This roster has an odd shape.
We have no 2C
We have Thompson and Mitts who are both centres but not really ready / good enough (atm) to play 3C, let alone 2C.
Reinhart is our only legit RW. So no 2RW.
We have a ton of LW - Sheary, Erod, Vesey, Olofsson, Skinner, Wilson, Elie etc.
I guess Girgensons and Larsson make up 2/3 of our fourth line, which I am happy with, But we need a 4RW to bulk them out

Everywhere has him listed as a winger in general. But I have no idea if he has actually played those positions in the pros
Rangers will be scary this year. Another team who will definitely be fighting for a playoff spot. We need to properly improve. Kakko, Trouba and Panarin on an already better team
Poorly worded - I meant more the appeal of a big city to go partying in may have been more attractive 3 years ago and he is less bothered by that now. Just speculating as to reasonable things that could mean his reasons for rejecting us the first time around aren't true now
Maybe he will like the city / team more than he expected?
Maybe he has grown up / changed in the last few years and what he wanted from New York is no longer what he wants?
By points alone, he would be a top 6 forward in 9/16 playoff teams. Colorado, Boston, Dallas, Carolina, St Louis, Winnepeg, Pittsburgh, Nashville, Islanders
