The only player I feel it is imperative to ditch now, after a month of Ted Nolan's coaching, is Ville Leino. He shows no improvement, and is a liability on the ice. It's almost like a power play for the other team when he's out there. I don't feel the burning need to ditch either Stafford or Myers at this point - but I wouldn't cry if either were traded at some future point. I think I'm getting too mellow now that Pat and Ted hold the reins.

Well, Manuel is out again. That's 3 times this year - once in pre-season, and twice now in the regular season- he's not related to Jake Locker, is he?
-
All of Stafford's shots appear aimed dead center at the goalie's chest. It's amazing he's actually got two whole goals after 35 games played given his bizarre and futile strategy.
-
He seemed pretty invisible last night - didn't help, didn't hurt. And as bad as he played LAST year, with only 6 goals in 46 games played, he's only got 2 in 31 games! 6 in 46 is terrible - 2 in 31 is beyond words! And he's already a -6 for the season.

That's a terrible excuse for this disgraceful loss to Tampa Bay - and points to a culture of failure enshrined at 1 Bills Drive. Please don't try and explain that the Bills are better than a 4-9 suggests? I have been hearing that ridiculous excuse for a month or more. What, they're as good as 5-8? gimme a break!!!! Contrast the Bills clearly giving up after 1 touchdown, with the game the Saints played last night - they got crushed by Seattle in a deflating loss Monday night - after a short week, they come back, and shut down the red-hot Panthers. And the Saints got off to a terrible start in last night's game - they went 3 and out on their first drive, and allowed the Panthers to score on their first two drives. And let's look at the Broncos - the Titans got up, what, 21 to 6 over the Broncos.... and the Broncos came back like a juggernaut. I'm thinking that SU football doesn't translate that well to the NFL.

The only "good" thing - Manuel threw for twice as many yards as Tyler Myers, and averaged nearly 2x the yards per pass. His QB rating was about 30% higher than Myers (41 vs 31) Of course, he did throw twice as many interceptions. How does a team where the QB has a rating of 30, 9 completions out of 25 attempts, and a whopping 90 total yards of passing, with TWO interceptions - how in the blazes does that team win? Not just win, but by a big margin! The Bills are astoundingly bad.

Both Johnson and McKelvin committed costly errors. Can Buffalo just get rid of them? Their foul-ups are like a broken record.
-
Pretty much what the scouting reports say about him. Losman Ver 2.0 BTW Bills playoff hopes officially over...for 14th season in a row. BEST the Bills can be is 7-9

Manuel is stinking up the joint against a 3-9 team with the 28th ranked defense in the NFL. Bills have the ability to make any team look good Btw Tampa's QB kinda looks like Tyler Myers....big tall giraffe.. Plays about as good too. Somehow Bills make him look good

Now it's down to 1.59 The Chicago Blackhawks, by contrast, are scoring over 2x as many goals per game on average as Buffalo. That's an amazing disparity. Even the Maple Leafs are scoring on average 1 more goal per game. Couple that with the 7th worst goals against in the NHL (3.03 per game) and it's amazing the Sabres have any points or have won any games at all. Our best goal scorer for the season - Hodgson - is 61st in the league. Our 2nd best scorer is Tyler Ennis with 5 goals now - and he's 161st in the NHL. Marcus Foligno is number 3, with 3 goals, ranking 281st. And it plummets from there. We don't have a single offensive player whose scoring would rate being a 1st liner or even 2nd liner on most teams.

^^haha!!!!

So at this pace when will we be mathematically eliminated from the playoffs?
-
At what point do the Bills end the suffering and cut Stevie Johnson loose?
-
Outstanding! Thanks!

I turned the game off after Carolina scored their first touchdown - I figured quit while I/they were ahead. Last thing I wanted to see was another Patriots/MNF love fest. I guess I should have watched - or at least recorded it. LOL Awesome that Brady's usual crying jag at the end didn't pay off - biggest whiner about calls in the NFL = Tom Brady. I hope he got more sympathy from Giselle than from the officials. LOL

Time will tell but.... If he can maintain his game-play from last night, he's welcome to stay on this team, in my opinion.
-
He just sounds like a backstabbing scumbag, from that article. Sneaky and not to be trusted.
-
Enshrine, and close. The Sabres have been de-weaseled.

Be careful now.... remember the supposed Chinese curse.... "May you live in interesting times...." ;)

Remember, Tuesday is Soylent Green Day.

It's WE ARE FINALLY OVER THE REGIER HUMP DAY!!! LOL -
That's pretty much how I feel too! I'm really excited to be a fan again - and I wasn't even gonna watch the Maple Leafs games, but that's no longer the case!

I'm fine with temporary suffering or deprivation, , if the end result will be reaching one's goal - in this case a high quality competitive NHL team. But suffering and suffering and more suffering, with no end in sight.....and no confidence the aforementioned goal would EVER be reached under the previous management.... no one wanted that. -
Hey, that would be awesome. The only reason I'm down on Drew is because of crappy, lazy play. If he turns around, he can stay as long as he likes.
