Looks a lot better than watching that awful game. I wished that was an option here. It was 15F during the game last night, and windchills 0 or below. Wouldn't be doing much sitting outside relaxing, or bicycling.

The Sabres are on a tear here. I think they've had 2 whole shots in the last 4 or 5 minutes.

He's young and it takes time to evaluate him. I think he could develop into a fine goalie from what we've seen. He has faced 35 shots on goal so far.

Ahhh, now the Sabres are up to 8 shots since 3:30 into the first period. So 8 shots in 52 minutes of game time. After those two goals we could have started a drinking game where we all did a shot of booze every time the Sabres had a shot on goal, and we'd all still be reasonably sober,

Some posters (I don't think you) were impressed with him initially, but that seemed to die out, and change to criticism, after he gave up a couple goals. It was a joke about fickle fans. LOL

Yeah, and astonishingly of those 12 shots, about half of them were in the first 3 minutes and 30 seconds of the game. 6 shots in 40 minutes of game time is beyond pathetic.

Yeah, but he's elite though. We're retiring his number. LOL

Ugly game - since the Sabres first two goals - where I think they had 4 or 5 total shots in the first 3 minutes, they're only up to 10 shots on goal - that's like 5 or 6 shots in the last 37 minutes of game play - brutal. OTOH, Canucks have 27 shots on goal already with only 2 periods played. Sabres are making one of the NHL's worst look like the reigning Stanley Cup champs. :rolleyes:

We're moody and fickle - it comes from years of mental trauma suffered as fans of Buffalo teams - PTSD of sorts. :)

Ryan Miller does not have very good stats the lasr two games. 4.0 GAA, allowed 4 goals on only 27 shots vs Chicago....and now today 4 goals on only 17 shots. I think a SVG % of. 833 today. And the Blues haven't helped with goal support ..... only 1 goal in 120 minutes. That isn't like Ryan or the Blues. Has the loss of Tarasenko on the wing hurt that much?

I think the only way I could possibly watch every single minute of a Sabres game right now, the way they've been playing .... is this way;

Sabres did a lot better with Lameo out of the lineup - a coincidence? Hackett did an excellent job for his first time in the net for Buffalo- 35 saves on 36 shots, a .972 SVG%, and a GAA of 1.0 Time for bed, I think now! :)

Nice job by the Sabres in the 3rd period - they dominated the 3rd.

I don't think even the Stafford Curse can save the Tank tonight.
