Ville Leino out for the rest of the night - Upper Body injury. I hope he takes a nice long rest, like maybe 9 or 10 games. :) hahah, the first time a number should be retired - and not to honor the player. :)

Leave it to Risto to do something - he's one of the bright spots on the team. BTW, he has 2 more goals than Leino in less than half as many games played - and he's a DEFENSE-man. :lol:

None of those things helped, for sure. But the team looks lifeless - even if they don't have the talent to score much.

I hate the new Labatt bear commercials - they were kind of funny when he talked.

If a opposing team gave a snow shower to Ryan Miller, the Blues would be ALL over them!!!!

If you look back at the calendar, the wheels really fell off this team about the time that PLF "resigned". Coincidence?

And on an unrelated note, the Blues are up 2-0 over the Wild at the end of the 1st. :)

Well, the Sabres are behind already. the Tank's engine is getting warmed up!

that takes some doing on a team like the Sabres filled with poor passers. LOL

The Tank has really been churning in March, that's for sure.

Oh, and pretty soon we're gonna clinch last place. We're 11 points behind Edmonton with 10 games left to play. Sabres would have to average 1.1 points earned per game just to tie, and Edmonton not make a point in their remaining games. In the last 12 games the Sabres have earned a whopping 4 points, or 0.3 points per game on average. If we stay true to average, we'll earn 3 or 4 more points in the remainder of the season.

In the month of March, with 12 games played, the Sabres have scored 16 total goals, for an average of 1.3 goals scored per game. Overall, the Sabres' average goals per game have dropped from 1.9 to 1.8. Amazingly bad.

I ended up on the phone for nearly 90 minutes - I missed the last 2 periods of the game. Doesn't sound like I missed much - we got shutout again. :(

Blues have snapped out of their funk tonight - lead the Leafs 4-1 at the end of 2. Boy, they really protect Ryan Miller too! Van Riemsdyk made a shot on Miller a couple three seconds after the buzzer sounded for the end of the 2nd- Jackman came right over - gave him a good hard push and got all up in Van Riemsdyk's face over that one. Nobody takes a run on Ryan on this team. :)

Buffalo with a PP opp coming up. How come nobody hits that dirty SOB? Nice, Ennis clears it for us - LOL
