  1. Yep!!! There's no quit in the team - they're a team we can be proud of even when they lose.
  2. LOL!!!!! Nice play by Erroroff at the end - with 25 seconds left, passing it right onto the stick of a Blues player. Probably wouldn't have scored anyways, but it essentially ended the game. LOL
  3. Coming in late on this one - from the few minutes I saw before the end of the 2nd, it looks like the Sabres have played quite well to hold St. Louis to only a 1-0 lead
  4. For good teams, a game against the Sabres seems like a fine time to give the starting goalie a rest. Sad but true.
  5. What a huge shut out for Ryan, at home in St. Louis, and thru overtime too! Ryan was on fire after that shaky loss to Dallas - nice to see he can ratchet it up a gear when he needs to. And of course, I forgot to record it. Sigh!
  6. Hard to believe a totally meaningless game like this can put a smile on the face. Nice job, Sabres, and props to Nate Lieuwen. And when else but April Fools Day does Ville Leino win the game? LOL
  7. Must be a nightmare being afflicted with an ever burgeoning bank account. lol
  8. So in a way we can have our cake and eat it too? If I win the $1000, I'll spend it on drinks for this forum's members
  9. Right there is a problem. It seems likely that next season's team could be just as dreadful as this one. I hope Ted gets the chance, and neither he nor management lose patience. Overall, excellent news though.
  10. Not many more appearances by either Rick J. or Robitaille. The season is winding down fast. Only 16 points left, and we're 12 behind Edmonton, and 13 behind Florida. Sabres would have to average 1.5 points for each of the last 8 games just to tie Edmonton's current points, and Edmonton not make any points. I heard this joke "Q: What do the Sabres and the Titanic have in common?" "A: They're both sitting at the bottom of the Atlantic" :)
  11. I was watching the 4th goal the Stars scored against him last night - he had a good look at it - it just beat him. And his SVG% isn't very good the last 5 games played - 110 saves out of 125 shots for .880 SVG% He's actually now dropped out of the Top Ten in all the stats. His SVG%, which is his best stat, has dropped to 11th in the league. I think he was 8th or 9th not that long ago. If he can just make it to the Semis, as Eleven mentioned, we'll be happy.
  12. The Tank could not be defeated tonight, even on the night that Hasek was honored.
  13. Team definitely seems to play better with Girgensons back in the lineup though. That's one positive.
  14. The Tampa Bay broadcasters said after the second goal. " So much for a good start" Edit : nevermind. The Sabres started coasting and let Tampa Bay get down and score before the end of the period
  15. Might be a long night due to this storm - just got a little blip in the power that knocked my internet offline. Where the hell is Spring? LOL
  16. The only feed available on 5 different links from FirstRow is the TB feed.
  17. Blues fans appear upset by a rumor that surfaced on NBC Sports that Miller might be looking to go to the Ducks next season http://hfboards.hockeysfuture.com/showthread.php?t=1633259
  18.   I hope I didn't jinx him by being first in to mention the "S" word at the end of the 2nd. At least the Wild goal was with 8 minutes left on the clock, so it wasn't a real nail-biter. Could have been 8 seconds. ;) Tonight the Tank stands fully revealed. And it is an ugly Tank!
  19. oh, man.... and they give up a 6th goal with 40 seconds left in the game. Boy, what an ugly bitch this was.
