  1. And IF Hodgson banks less than 2 points tonight, he'll have set a new mark on the Leino Bar. Last year's splits thru the end of January Leino - thru January 2014 - 36 games played - 9 points, Hodgson - thru January 29th, 2015 - 47 G games played, 7 points Additionally, the Leino Bar thru the end of January - plus/minus of -9 Hodgson appears to already have that cinched for the January split, with a brutal plus minus of -19 Another month of this, and we'll be ditching the Leino Bar in favor of the Hodgson Bar, for measuring bad O players.
  2. I'll predict Miller giving up at least one soft goal tonight.
  3. Yeah, this is an epic-bad team. Is it the worst team in Sabres history? I thought he was going to start crying. Somebody should have reminded him right then, that the Sabres just set a team record for most consecutive losses.
  4. Arizona won tonight too, so our Lead in last place has increased!
  5. And he was -2 tonight! Face palm bad play by "Coho" tonight. And yet Nolan still gave him 17 minutes of ice time?
  6. -14 in shot differential against the 29th worst team in the NHL this year. That's almost incomprehensible.
  7. So that's a Franchise Record for consecutive losses, yes?
  8. Weber stepped up to help the Tank by taking a penalty with 1:30 left.
  9. Wow, Hodgson is brutal - if he isn't sure what to do with the puck, he defaults to turning it over to the other team.
  10. Guys, we need this loss! C'mon, Tank!!!!
  11. Have to comment on a brutal turn over by Mitchell - didn't result in a goal... but.....it was awful
  12. You think Hodgson has the puck - but no, the Oilers do, and it results in a goal.
  13. -15 on the Corsi after only one period against the 29th worst team in the NHL? Ugh! Nice "shot"/turnover by The Mess
  14. What a slug Hodgson is. He's the new Leino. Sloppy line change, and floats down the ice. LOL - no, Meszaros. :)
  15. Not wanting to be undone by Meszaros, Gorges stepped up and blocked Enroth's vision at a critical time. And the professional floater, Cody Hodgson, was floating and doing little if anything to defend. Putting Gorges and Hodgson on the same line really could help the Tank. That line change was brutal - Hodgson is such a slug! And Stewart...... jeez....
  16. Defense was brutal during that Oiler's goal. Figured we could count on The Mess
  17. The Mess was on the ice for that Oiler's goal.
  18. I just saw the stats on the screen - Sabres have now climbed up to 28th in the league in PP%. Dammit, we need to get back to 30th!
  19. Since we aren't supposed to discuss the Tank in the GDT, maybe we should make Tank Day Threads for important games like this one?
  20. Is Edmonton bad enough to make the Sabres look good?
  21. Tonight is a big one for the Tank! It's like the Tank Cup! Let's go for history and 13 straight losses.
  22. Good news for the Tank if he doesn't play.
  23. Rob Ray must really hate this forum - everything gets analyzed here - even Rob Ray's statement about analytic guys gets analyzed.
  24. GMTM is laying down the law, enforcing discipline AND.... helping the Tank by benching one of the team's best D men. Brilliant!
