  1. Wow - does that first goal count as an 'own goal'? And shouldn't it have been disallowed since Pardy displayed a distinct "kicking motion" - That was brutal - have the Sabres EVER given up so many goals in such a short amount of clock time? Unbelievable.
  2. Error-hoff usually is a good player - probably not good enough to justify his salary, but I'm not sure that justifies the vitriol If he's going to criticize Erhoff, he ought to positively heap EXCORIATION on Tyler Myers or Drew Stafford.
  3. Are we mathematically eliminated with a regulation loss tonight? I'm guess we must be - that's a 4 point swing with only 3 games after this one.
  4. I'm ready. The team clearly plays better without him. Those turnovers of his, and dumb mistakes, were back-breakers.
  5. Ruhwedel had a very nice defensive play against Jagr last night.... in fact, even the commentators mentioned it. I'm pleased so far - good fundamentals.
  6. Millbury making excuses for Boston.... what an idiot
  7. Ryan Miller was outstanding tonight. I've never seen him look better in a shootout
  8. Awesome! Great leadership by Steve Ott
  9. Hey, Sabres won the 3 game series this year against the Flyers, 2 wins, 1 loss. Thanks, Sabres!
  10. Guy has good puck handling skills, and keeps possession - that's something this team really needs!
  11. I hope we keep him! Scott puts some hard hits on the opposing team's skaters too.
  12. BTW, that was a huge performance by Jhonas today... Stamkos and St. Louis are the two top points guys in the NHL next to Crosby.... to keep them on the MINUS side of the plus/minus equation today was tremendous.
  13. Yeah, turnovers with either Stamkos or St. Louis on the ice would have been back-breakers.... only 3 giveaways for the Sabres in the entire game vs 9 for Tampa Bay. You just know if Myers had been out there, 3 or 4 more turnovers would have happened, OR he would have been out of position on defense, OR just standing there in the Buffalo zone like a cigar store Indian. Stamkos or St. Louis would definitely capitalize on typical Myers errors.
  14. Great win by Buffalo..... they play very well when Jhonas is in the net.... and certainly the loss of Myers hasn't hurt them in the slightest. May even help, actually.
  15. First shutout of the year and first game that Tyler Myers was scratched due to injury.... I find it hard to believe it's just a coincidence with Chief Woodenlegs out of the lineup! It's also amazing that Enroth has played 8 games this season and has a shutout. Miller has played more than 4 times as many games as Enroth and has yet not recorded a single solitary shut out. And it also figures that I FORGOT TO RECORD THE DAMN GAME!!! Arrrgh!!!!!
  16. Its like that old adage ... "He may be an ###### but he's our ######. "
  17. Hartmell looks like a cocky long haired punk. I hope we put some hard hits on him today...he is one of the Flyers I dislike most.
  18. Exactly - At the trade deadline Regier pretty much came out and said the season was over. The defeatism is contagious, spreading from the top, downward.
  19. There's some serious irony right there - lmao!!!!!! And this was posted before the news broke about the injury.... inkman must be, how do you say, psychotic? ;)
  20. "Meyers" - haha - that should be the new Pomminstein.
  21. So would I ... as long as its someone else's leg.
  22. That's right.... I forgot about that - was in the 3rd, and I was half-asleep (fully asleep before the end of the 3rd). Subban has got a wicked shot - I really dislike Subban.... but he's definitely got skills.
  23. haha!!! Must have been some dry-rot. And now we have a perfect excuse as to why he'll be slow and out of shape next October. Seriously though, Drew Stafford is really gonna have to step up his game now to make up for Tyler Myers' loss for the remainder of the season. We need Drew's "A "game....   Sorry, couldn't say it and keep a straight face. ;)
  24. Yep, just came in on my phone. When the hell did he break his leg and how? He usually stays well away from the puck in play. And with his wooden-legs, you'd think they could just furniture-glue the damn thing and have him get back at whatever it is he does. ;)
