  1. I am really close to "let's lose out mode". Never thought I would say that...
  2. Cody just scored 2 goals in 17 seconds for the Amerks.
  3. Spot on... except for "big win" but it were 55 minutes :D
  4. It's almost 4:30 am for me now :D ______ Damn this loss stinks.
  5. if you mean that grea area on the right side, thats the under arm/pit area.... the arm was a little twisted when I took the photo. By the way funny side note: Jersey:80$ Shipping:85$ :D :D :D Taxes 35$ Next jersey I am going to buy, will be the new third one. If it doesn't look aweful...
  6. Enroth did play great for 59 Minutes but there is just no way that you can give up that rebound. I think he injured himself while sliding over after the rebound, so the injury is no excuse. This wasn't even a real shot on goal, it was a floater that he was unable to direct to the boards. He made huge saves in the game but that doesn't change the fact, that the 2nd NJ goal was his fault.
  7. Prios to this game, the Sabres scored 3 Goals on their last 32 PowerPlays. They also scored 3 goals on their last 12 Penalty Killing situations... WE GOTTA TAKE MORE PENALTIES!!!!!
  8. Enroth was great for 59 minutes but threw away that victory
  9. hahahahaahahaha I take a 1:0 lead over a 4:4 tie at any day of the year.
  10. Well still not enough communication out there but overall decent 1st period on the road...
  11. I've said it before. Vanek and Pommers or Briere and Pommers or Briere and Dumont were/are incredibly gifted duo's but they always knew... if we screw something up, Hecht will be there and will be the first guy back to help out on the D. Damn I miss the Hecht-Briere-Dumont line. Play Hecht on the 4th line. He is so realiable and hardly hardly makes mistakes. I really think it helps Ennis,Hodgson and Grigo to learn from him when it comes to defensive responsibility. That doesn't mean that Hecht needs to play 15-20 minutes every game. Play him 7-12 and the 4th line and everything would be fine.
  12. I liked the article. Liked the last sentence. But people will forget what Hecht did for this franchise. Its an aweful lot. They will forget and and I think they already have.
  13. I would have understood the Scott move if NJ would start goons tonight. But thats not the case so I am suprised. actually liked what 55-25-21 did lately AND I AM NOT DRUNK! :P I am 6 hours ahead. So you should worry if I post at 10pm your time. But only if there is no sabres game cause I am getting up at night for those ^^
  14. It doesnt matter which league it is. There is no difference in the rules no matter if friendly in the 4th league or world cup final. It's a dangerous play and according to the rules than can result in a red card. The intent (or not intent) doesnt matter at all. If Lopes should have gotten red is a different story. And of course the dutch guy back then should have gotten a red card for sure. Nani's play was dangerous and he hit him right in the chest/stomach area. That's according to the rules a red card. And thank god it is.
  15. I liked Flynn's effort. Would play him over Porter. He seemed to be better defensively.
  16. In germany we had 3 plays like that this year(red card on every play). You cant have the leg up there. Doesnt matter if you dont see him. If you have the leg up there and you hit the guy -> Red card. You took the risk to possibly injure someone. Could have hit his face. That happened before. He didnt see him but you are responsible for what you do. I know it's tough because in the past this was not a red card. I can understand why the ref gave him the red, and I am actually happy they do this these days. Could still have injured rips/lunge, splenic... I got hit myself when I played on a similar play. Wasn't much fun :D He barely touched my chin but at first I thought... "OMG my beautiful face" haha
  17. Oh I didnt mean you. :D :P I meant the media going nuts why the ref gave him a red card... Those writers and journalists are just stupid. That was a red card!
  18. "@drosennhl: Eric Staal says Marc Staal is waiting for swelling to go down around his right eye b4 further determination can be made about his injury.
  19. I dont understand all this talking about the referee. It was clearly no mistake to give him a red card...
  20. Thanks for the info back then. The jersey from Buffalo arrived today :)
  21. Well in the past it was a little bit better, but far from being great.
  22. THe problem this year is... Sabres win 25 maybe 35% of the puck battles along the boards. They always come up short on these. Since day one. If that doesn't change they are going nowhere. In the third period 2 times Myers took the puck and just skated like crazy down the ice. Record that on tape and show it to him 100 times. Thats what I wanna see. I think everyone in here remembers those 2 plays.
  23. thats actually a sidenote of why I dont want Miller to play in New Jersey. Don't give the Devils a reason to be fired up.
  24. I would start Miller tonight and play Enroth vs. New Jersey. Just because it would mean Miller has no game on the 6th March, 7th March, 8th March and 9th March. Gives him a well needed rest.
  25. So Richards almost dies and doesn't miss a shift. Says he hit is head and isn't going to the locker room for concussion tests?
