I think after Ruff got fired, they wanted to see if RR can get him go. That wasnt the case. Now he can go back to Quebec and will be in the center of attention every game and will have the tough competition every game. After that he can either come back or go to the Amerks and maybe play there during the playoffs(I think thats possible)

I haven't seen him at practice every day so I can't tell if he is NHL ready. But from what I saw during the games. he didnt really seem to be so. I think the move makes sense. Let him win the Memorial Cup (I hope) and give him a full summer and full camp to start the next season in buffalo.
