He's just...so...average. Andy Dalton is similar, the only difference is he has AJ Green to bail him out on the regular.

I feel compelled to compliment Moulson on that zone exit. Really nice puck control and an accurate pass while under duress.

Right now? No. I hate him. This is how other fans (...and many here) must have felt watching Derek Roy. I've liked Fasching's game tonight a lot. Some good board work, couple of steals, and showing nice speed.

To be completely fair, it was definitely true of Crosby in his younger years. Sometimes it's hard to move beyond that first impression.

I don't know if I respect the NHL or not. The NFL pretends to care about player safety, but really doesn't. The NHL is verging on just not even pretending. Is being honestly despicable more worthy of respect than bring dishonestly despicable?

Me too. I also remember him saying after the trade how much he liked Kane and Bogosian in juniors. Something to keep an eye on.

I think there's a really high probability he can turn into a McDonagh-level #1. 75%+. Hell, I think his offense is already better...defense is way behind though. The question becomes is McDonagh a #1 on a contender with a lesser goaltender than Lundqvist. That I'm not sure of.

I don't think any sane person could argue against this. Then again, I'm a fantasy football addict, and all the commercials allow me to feed my mild OCD stat checking...
