  1. Who made that breakout pass? That was great.
  2. That'll happen when every player we brought in to make us better is hurt :(
  3. Yea, that goal was totally his fault.
  4. Shaw wants zero to do with fighting Foligno.
  5. I believe he sings at his church on Thursdays.
  6. Oh man. The picture of Murray and Pegula shaking hands is easily the funniest thing I've seen this week.
  7. Yea I really don't think that's true.
  8. If it lingers too much longer, go see someone.
  9. Of course he will. But don't pretend you won't be climbing onto the ledge I occupied yesterday if he comes back and re-injures it a la Ennis. :p
  10. One unit on the Sabres. Lehner steals one.
  11. Eh, I think there's a reason he hadn't gone this route until now: he knows he's going to lose, so why the hell not? He simply stopped caring about the negatives. Either that, or he legitimately doesn't believe he's done anything wrong.
  12. I feel like I may be on the losing end of this particular exchange
  13. Never took you for the strict constructionist type. There shall be no repenting where there was no wrongdoing--the reference was merely meant to point to a potential galvanizing effect that can happy when a star player goes down. Bring on the defamation suit, I like my chances! Absolutely. My options tonight: blue Myers, Olympic Miller, goathead Hasek, or white Eichel. I suppose there's only one real option in the bunch.
  14. My experience was that weakness, rather than pain, was the problem upon return to activity. The ankle felt like it was going to give out (and sometimes it did, but the pain resulting from that didn't really inhibit continued activity) when real force was put on it, or if it moved outside of a perfect motion (hard to describe, really). That aspect of the injury is what lingered on for me. Is it? I thought ROR was clearly more important to the team last year than Eichel was.
  15. Ewing played for the Lakers? Mote seriously, I'm pretty sure the theory has been broadened in application beyond original meaning.
  16. His middle name is Robert? Can we just call him the Chief Justice?
  17. Montreal.
  18. The drop in quality from Grantland to the Ringer is stunning and sad. I barely ever visit the Ringer. As to O'Reilly...I think I'd rather give him this game and the next two days off to rest up for Sunday than let him play tonight while hobbled.
  19. Looking at reaction yesterday, is it really a stretch to suggest Eichel is getting more focus than he should? But yea, Simmons is a shell of his former self.
  20. *patiently waits for jsb to accuse Bylsma of being hormonal and in need of restraint from jumping off a bridge*
  21. Unless Hoss was pulling one hell of a troll job, yea. I laughed out loud at the story.
  22. Didn't they have a year or two where they lost to epic goaltending performances by Lundqvist and Halak? I thought those teams were good enough to make a run.
  23. "I'm not sure which of you is worse with women. Evander, who keeps getting accused of uninvitedly touching them, or Samson, who didn't realize the Beaut he was hitting on was engaged. In any event, be better at hockey than you are with women."
