To say nothing of his EJ Manuel-esque touch on deep throws today. Yet, every pass play seems like a deep drop with a jail break for WRs. We desperately need to get some quick hitters for rhythm and to back the NE pass rush off a little.

Better late than never, Brian Daboll.

Yeah it's a shame the offense is so bad for this defense, which is playoff-win-caliber right now.

Oh well. I think we're going to play Tennessee, Miami, Philly, Miami, Washington etc. a lot better than this

Really going out on a limb there ?

Forget about picks, Allen has had two 3rd down sacks take 6 points off the board.

lmao that was a ... questionable throw by Tom.

He's now up to 3 TDs and 5 INTs in 5 games against McDermott's defense. Imagine if McDermott and his crew could coach an offense.

I implicitly trust McDermott with all things defense. He's great. It's offense, special teams, and game management where all of my gripes sit.

I can't believe Gore is still good. I think he'd survive a nuclear apocalypse.

Yes. A receiver is supposed to just let the other team catch it when it is under thrown. Smh

You can't just say this in a vacuum. Zay had a full step and was in full flight. The ball was underthrown by several yards. Literally nothing Zay could do there. The only thing worse than the throw itself was the decision to throw it.

No. Way. Any receiver waiting for the ball to come to them needs to go away. If he was a real receiver it would be just an incomplete pass.

It was a fly route. He's not supposed to go up and get it. Also, being able to do so for an underthrown ball would defy the laws of physics. Allen threw it off his back foot falling away and that's what happens.

I gotta be honest, I didn't think it would be this bad this quickly. I was expecting a slow meltdown. Apparently the Pats just want to get it over with.

They're just unbelievably good this year.

Allen's mechanics are reflective of his mental state today. They're the worst they've been since we played in NE last year.

Weird. Just last week @Marchand'sNose inducted him into the HoF.

The Bills can actually be good and still not in the same class as this year's Patriots. Which is essentially where I land. I expect us to get smoked, but that's more of a commentary on the Patriots than the Bills.

    Well, I'm not being disappointed.

Vlad does one thing we desperately need. Win faceoffs.

He took 613 face offs and won 51.9% of them, for 318 wins. Eichel won 47%, Larsson 50.7%, Rodrigues 46.4%, Mittelstadt 40.2%, and Johansson is 41.8% on his career (he barely took any last year). Even if we were to assume Mittelstadt, the worst of the bunch, takes every face-off Vlad would take (and the total number of faceoffs is roughly equal), you're only looking at 68 fewer faceoff wins over the course of the season. Less than 1 per game! And we know Mitts won't take all of those faceoffs, and it's possible he got better at them. It's simply not a big deal.
