  1. The Devils are in such great shape. Hughes Hischier Hughes Nemec is a lot like Tage Cozens Dahlin Power. Tuch is like Meier. Hopefully Levi can be an x-factor for us. And the other young forwards can match and exceed Mercer/Bratt/whoever I'm forgetting
  2. Kevyn could very easily 1.) Turn 13 into Michkov and 2.) Still have a plethora of assets to get Pesce/Hanifin and a good goalie
  3. If Michkov actually falls a few spots I would jump thru hoops to get him
  4. For one more data point, I would prefer Pesce because I prefer his handedness, and think that he is more finely tuned to cover most of the things our defense corps lacks than Hanifin (who is by no means poorly-tuned for us)
  5. Man, one of my "acceptable" Eichel trade returns was Comtois, Gibson, and 3rd overall in whatever draft that was. I'm pretty happy with what we got
  6. FFLSSSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHGGPGPGLORPSHHHHFSHHHHHGLLLLLARGLGLGLLGHH I thought it was fitting for my posts
  7. I will lurk ~100 feet away and steal glances when I am pretty sure that none of you are looking in my general direction
  8. I like this, I haven't paid attention to an intermission show since about 2012
  9. I didn't call the trade the "reason" they became great, but it absolutely was the inflection point - "all systems go, we are ready, go get Allen his Alpha Target" Going back to my original point, the Sabres need that exact thing - they don't need to trade for a "reason" to become great - they are just about there. They need the move that signals they are all in, and turns their most important potential weakness into a strength. And that's without getting into the nuance that you cannot assert Bills definitely would have taken Jefferson had they kept that pick, and Jefferson (who ran limited route tree his rookie year) would have been better for Allen at that particular juncture than a vet WR who went on to shatter all franchise WR records that season and can run every route in the playbook, but i digress
  10. I also came up with 3 losses, Columbus just has their number
  11. Congrats on the worst post of the day Try, the inflection point in the elevation of a franchise from two decades in the grave to indefinite championship contention such that the "massive disappointment" which has led to the most pathetic offseason I've ever seen from a buffalo fanbase, elegantly summarized here, involved a home playoff victory before falling in the divisional round, something that was a pipe dream the 25 years before the trade
  12. The Sabres are ready for their Diggs trade
  13. Do you mean *in* Canada? Is he from Vancouver?
  14. I would rather have UPL than blackwood, but I don't want UPL dressing opening night, so nah I don't think it was
  15. I'm not going to be a doomer about this coming year right now, but if it does come to pass that our team defense, PK, and PP look like dogshit, it will look really bad that we kept everything the same which forced out coaches we have been developing seemingly successfully
  16. I would have returned my seasons if we traded for Hayes. Maybe nil would have bought them from me
  17. Can't wait to sit down and split up the games with my season ticket frens
  18. I wonder why Colorado did that
  19. Swapping him for any one of players 4 through 7 would have made the Sabres tangibly worse this year
  20. One of the worst sabres in history
  21. I've gotten a good feel for your preferences on this coming offseason - have you heard anything from your source about what the plan is?
  22. McAvoy probably qualifies despite tough playoff.
  23. So is vapid, preening snark towards your least favorite demographic, which would have otherwise been cheered on or left alone But noticing that and not nodding along somberly is le heckin bad-erino Give me a break lmao whoops where's my empathy damn it
