Adam's was a grinder when he played, how and why is he ignoring anybody with grit while build this current bunch? He knows its needed to win so I dont understand his logic.

The wheels are off, they cant hardly score a goal and get a lead let alone win a game. Thought DG was gonna be ok, sure not looking that way.

When I see game after game as many uncontested slot shots or uncontested below the dot shots as the Sabres are giving up, these advance stats are bunk and the D is the problem not the goaltenders. That said the goalies could be better but the D needs to be leaps and bounds better. Need some guys with grit, not necessarily fighters just guys that are difficult to play against.

Terrible, worked over by a 4-9-3 team at home on Vans last game of their 5 game in 9 days road trip out east. That was pathetic!

My only complaint is they should have incorporated some windows in the concourse/hallways on all levels. Just looking outside between periods would have been nice.

Larsson is a really good comparison defensively. Asplund seems to be tracking for more points per year, which is a plus.

I agree, although I do think Anderson is a decent goalie, better than anyone that's been here in years, unfortunately he's hurt significantly, enough to miss substantial time, which isn't helping at all.

Syracuse is considered central NY, so in my opinion anything west of Syracuse is western NY. Rochester is definitely not central NY. Even if they want to consider Rochester part of "Finger Lakes" region it is still west of Syracuse and west of central NY. Almost seems like a new way of separating two cities, Buffalo/Rochester and giving them their own geographical area.

Wasn't expecting much but last night was a pleasant surprise. They play hard and it paid off. Maybe they won't be doormats and they'll actually be half way decent and fun to watch.
