dont know abou that but I wouldn't mind seeing overtime 4 on 4 for 10 minutes instead of only 5 minutes. -

I think the head games Lindy plays with these guys really take their toll. Some guys can handle it some guys can't. Personally, I wouldn't want to play for a coach that plays mind games. -

Thought maybe that Boston win was a good stepping stone and character builder. Guess not. -
I disagree. IMO Vanek was able to go off because of what Scott had done to Thornton earlier. What Scott did was allow for the rest of the Sabres to be able to play hockey without fear.
-
Yep, great decision. That AHL goon didn't want any part of Scott after he seen Thorntons face caved in. Excellent decision by Ruff.

FWIW and IMO, I think having J Scott is helping everyone be able to do their thing without constantly being cheapshotted. Scott holds everyone on the other team accountable, especially since he broke Thorntons face last night. -

He sat the first 5 games and it was just his 11th career game ever. What were you expecting from him? He didn't look any worse than any other defensemen. -

Leo isn't at fault at all for either goal. C'mon now, Miller was bad, call it like it was. -

Not really. I consider 3 of those goals his fault. Two from the point and the last one, can't blame the team on Millers bad goals. -

I kinda thought that also, but you can't tell. It sucks he is hurt though. -
oh look, the Miller excuses have begun.
-
or maybe asking the goalie to make a save on a wrist shot from the blue line, don't care if it was tipped, it was from 30 feet away and it was a wrist shot. the goalie, any goalie needs to stop that.
-
hey look another blue line shot that gets past miller. its like a broken record.
-
coffee

They changed parts and to the eye the still look the same, slow, mistake prone, disinterested, etc. Lindys system does not appear to be getting it done anymore. I like Lindy but you are right Caveman, changes are in order should they miss the playoffs. But Lindy is Darcys man and Terry loves Lindy, so standing pat seems like the only option they will pursue.

miller gets beat by a backup again, its like a damn broken record.......
-
you mean like Fitzpatrick? He plays a great game but throws 1 costly interception and everyone blames the loss on him. Miller does the exact same thing, lets in one bad goal after a good game and everyone excuses his gaff. the double standard is sickning
-
typical Miller, cant stop anything from the blue line
-
along with Tarnasky and Porter from Rochester, hmmm... deal in the works to fill those spots?

Aah yes, Tahous at 3am on Main St. in the 90's. Always interesting/exciting/dangerous at the same time. Nothing like eating a plate and never knowing what is coming through the door next. Brings back a few memories.
