  1. Olofsson-Thompson-Asplund Peterka-Krebs-Quinn Skinner-Cozens-Murray Zemgus-Jankowski-Okposo Dahlin-Samuelson Power-Jokiharju Johnson-Bryson Pysyk Portillo Anderson
  2. I would argue It’s better for Dylan though and His Development, if Eakin, Vinny and Drake are still on the team next year that’s a major failure. Once Mittlestadt and Olofsson are back it will be easier to adjust the lineup, but putting Cozens into the best position to succeed should be the goal for now.
  3. They are 0-4-1 in Their Last Five, with two functional lines right now. Cozens was getting the opponent’s top line in most road matchups with obvious results. It appears the organization is more concerned with development then Wins and Losses at this point Give Him the Teams Best Two Defensive Wingers and see how He fares. He was put out against Crosby last season, let’s see what happens with guys who are good at it. And I think you meant Cozens, not Thompson in the First Line of Your Response, I wouldn’t touch the Thompson Line right now.
  4. Cozens is eighth in controlled zone entry in the entire league, He is also in the Top Ten for controlled zone exits. He absolutely needs better wingers. Vinnie and the Drake are horrible at puck retrieval in the defensive zone, which leads to prolonged periods of time spent in there for the entire line. Anthony Sciandra wrote an article for Expected Buffalo, detailing the Lines Struggles. He suggested moving Cozens to be the center for Zemgus and Okposo. He would learn defensive zone responsibility from them and those two have a tendency to flip the ice. With Cozens being strong on the transition, more goals scored by a line of Zemgus-Cozens-Okposo off the rush is a real possibility. Yes the Zemgus-Eakin-Okposo Line is the team’s best defensive line (I believe that’s more Zemgus and Okposo than Eakin), but moving Cozens to that line until Mittlestadt and/or Olofsson are ready to return would be best for Cozens development. If playing with Zemgus and Okposo or getting better linemates with the return of Olofsson and Mittlestadt doesn’t improve things, then send Him to Rochester. Either way at the Trade Deadline I would make sure Cozens, Peterka, Quinn and Krebs are all eligible for the AHL Playoffs.
  5. LeBrun interviewed Kevyn Adams He mentioned that after He got back from Michigan on Sunday, Adams took Tuch out to Dinner. On Monday After Amerks Practice, He took Peyton Krebs out to lunch and spent a few hours with Him getting to know Krebs.
  6. That’s a weak ass call
  7. Cozens is ahead of where Mitts was in His Second Season He had some of the of the Sabres Best Offensive Metrics prior to being saddled with Hinostroza and Caggiula. Despite being saddled with those two He still is on a 37 point pace while playing third line minutes. See what happens once Mittlestadt and Olofsson are back in the lineup and Cozens has better line mates. Get Him qualified for the AHL Playoffs, have Him play in the the Final Weekend of the Olympic Break with the Amerks. Have Him shoot more Try Him with Okposo and Zemgus
  8. They could move Bjork or Skinner to His Wing now. Once Mitts and Olofsson are back either put Skinner back on His Wing or have Cozens play a few games on Mitts Wing. If it doesn’t work then consider Rochester. Leave Quinn and JJP where they are.
  9. Cozens needs different wingers
  10. I think that the reason He hasn’t been put through waivers
  11. Adams was on the Instigators the Day of the trade they point blank asked Him about Wil Borgen since He had not appeared in a game for the Kraken Yet. Adams just smiled as a response, obviously he couldn’t comment
