  1. It’s from a Sports Illustrated Article from the February 10th, 1997 https://vault.si.com/vault/1997/02/10/dressed-to-thrill-surprisingly-the-sabres-are-among-the-nhls-best-teams-certainly-theyre-its-most-entertaining
  2. I expect a slight regression in offense, but expect His Defense to improve more than enough to offset it
  3. Jeremy Jacobs is the Chairman of the Board of Governors for the NHL and has been the primary representative of the Owners for every recent CBA Negotiation going back to the lockout. That makes him the most influential/powerful owner in the NHL
  4. Here are the games The Sabres' national TV schedule for 2023-24 is as follows: Oct. 17 vs. Tampa Bay - 7:30 p.m. on ESPN Nov. 1 at Philadelphia - 7 p.m. on TNT (exclusively on MSG in the Buffalo broadcast market) Nov. 24 vs. Pittsburgh - 6 p.m. on TNT Dec. 5 vs. Detroit - 7:30 p.m. on ESPN+/Hulu Dec. 13 at Colorado - 9:30 p.m. on TNT Dec. 27 vs. Boston - 7:30 p.m. on TNT Jan. 17 vs. Chicago - 7:30 p.m. on TNT (exclusively on MSG in the Buffalo broadcast market) Feb. 10 vs. St. Louis - 1 p.m. on ABC Feb. 27 at Florida - 7 p.m. on ESPN+/Hulu March 2 vs. Vegas - 7 p.m. on ESPN+/Hulu March 6 at Toronto - 7 p.m. on TNT March 9 vs. Edmonton - 12:30 p.m. on ESPN+/Hulu March 14 vs. New York Islanders - 7:30 p.m. on ESPN+/Hulu March 30 vs. Toronto - 7 p.m. on ESPN+/Hulu April 7 at Detroit - 1 p.m. on TNT
  5. Östlund officially loaded to the SHL
  6. https://twitter.com/reporterchris/status/1694457191963468184?s=46&t=h0yvSDHtOEJBIIBDkE7IaQ Matthews signs a 4 year extension at 13.25 million AAV with Toronto
  7. RJ’s Initials behind the nets for the entire season similar to what they did for Martin and with the number 7, along with the patch. The Statue needs to be a Rick in a booth calling the PBP, but you are right he is the greatest Sabre of all time
  8. After the handshake, Davidson mentioned who he actually was and they did not believe him. It won’t embed for me either
  9. I use Hockey Viz which is Micah Blake McCurdy’s Site and His Models are reportedly more well respected around the analytics community. Lawrence Pilut and Casey Fitzgerald were the only two defenders who did not get worse when on the ice with Boosh
  10. Bryson has better defensive and PK metrics Stillman is full pedal to the metal with no brakes when he is out on the ice. The Sabres are better on offense when he is on the ice, but he gives it all back when the puck is in the Sabres Zone. None of the three should see regular minutes, but Boosh’s Tendency to take penalties at a higher rate, given the Sabres lack of PK Ability made him the most likely one to be moved
  11. The Sabres Analytics Department would disagree with Boosh being a better option. Stillman and Bryson are actually have better metrics in enough categories to justify keeping them over Him.
  12. He took too many penalties. His metrics were the worst amongst the defenders. And his foot injuries really hampered his play. The Concept of Boosh was more popular than the player himself. And this is from a poster who was thrilled with His Signing last summer

  15. My Uncle, who has been a Sabres STH since the inaugural season and RJ are the reasons I became a Sabres Fan to begin with. My Uncle passed away this past Saturday and now RJ Tonight. This sucks
  16. DeSmith’s Worse Season using the stat Goals Saved Above Expected was on par with UPL’s Best one. He has a positive Goals saved above expected two of the past three seasons, the only season he wasn’t was a -0.6.
  17. https://x.com/sabrespr/status/1691555431238246507?s=46&t=h0yvSDHtOEJBIIBDkE7IaQ He’s been officially loaned to the SHL
