Stephenson Numbers (Fancy Stats) have fallen off, I would be worried his counting stats are inflated by playing for VGK. He is the buyer beware UFA for me. Foegele would be a great signing

He would be much better than Stephenson

Chad DeDominicis released a podcast tonight. A couple tidbits, they are in talks with Winnipeg about Ehlers. He is willing to come to Buffalo but does not want to sign an extension with any team yet. The ask is high, other players maybe involved from Winnipeg as well, but this is an overpayment they should make imo. 2025 1st top ten protected and a prospect would be my guess. He also mentioned they do have interest in Stamkos and they could offer a short term deal at high AAV. He probably goes somewhere else though. He also wonders about Tyler Toffoli and Matt Roy for the Sabres as UFA Targets

On a three year deal yes

Anthony Mantha on a short term deal with high AAV might be an idea

Rumor: There has been word that teams don’t want to deal with Buffalo
Brawndo replied to Buffalonill's topic in The Aud Club
They couldn’t promise McGroaty NHL Time this season, which is the reason he wouldn’t sign with the Jets. There might be something to the Necas statement. Per Friedman Columbus was willing to include the Fourth Overall Pick in return for a package from Carolina for Necas with an extension in place. Necas supposedly said no. Peters broke the Eichel Trade as Luke Tuch was his source. Since then not so much -
Oh hell yes

Actually they are second cousins -
Per Frank Servalli The Sabres are among the teams expected to make an offer for Patrick Kane

I do not believe Kulich, Rosen or Östlund were at last year’s camp either, but that was for a playoff run for the first two and an injury for the third

The NHL particularly the Board of Governors won’t stand for that. Revenues are dramatically increasing throughout the league and the Sabres are one of the teams that are preventing them from going higher. Large numbers of unsold tickets night after night is unsettling to the higher revenue teams who have to share with the Sabres. Being in the bottom five teams in actual dollars spent on salaries over the past few seasons hasn’t gone unnoticed either. Arizona, the Senators Ownership Situation and to a lesser extent the Sabres futility were on the NHL’s Radar. Two of the three have been resolved, the final one is coming into focus. Another season of missing the playoffs means the NHL would suggest putting an experienced person into a position of power in the organization, much like they did with Toronto and Brendan Shanahan. Before everyone gets too excited remember Pierre Dorion and Peter Chiarelli fit that description. I do believe that the Skinner Buyout is the first concrete sign that Pegula is willing to spend money. Now Adams needs to make smart decisions in UFA and also complete some trades. Someone In the organization had an unhealthy obsession with Eichel
