Sabres Fan in NS

I am Canadian. I do have a connection to Buffalo. My mom was born there and she grew up in Elma. My grandparents bought land way out in Elma in around 1930 and built a house. Before that they built what turned into a barn, but initially the family lived in said barn. So, my mom was raised in a barn. True story. My Aunt and Uncle lived next door to my grandparents. My cousin and his family have lived in my grandparents house since my grandfather passed away on my 18th birthday in 1982. We used to spend a lot of time there as kids. It was great to be in *the country* as compared to The Great Satan. I grew up watching the Bills and Sabres and have loved them ever since. When I was in Junior High and High School everybody was wondering why the Sabres ... there was not one other Sabre fan in the whole school. When I was older we would go to a few Bills games (my uncle had seasons for entertaining clients) and some Sabre games too. When my wife and I married we would go to Buffalo many times for games. We have not been to Buffalo, or The Great Satan, since we moved to NS in 1998.

He looks awefully young to be that bald. What in the blazes is a *COO* and why do the Sabres need one ??

This is a very winable game. That said, the Sabres will have to want it more and work harder for it. No game is *easy*. MUST WIN !! GO SABRES !!

I wouldn't think so. They are all young and healthy and in top shape. Now you and me and @inkman and @Eleven and @Weave and @PASabreFan and @LabattBlue etc, etc, etc ... you get the idea ... We would all have a lot of issues with the density of the current Sabre schedule. *Shot with an i* ... I can't even keep pace with my boring schedule.

@Thorny is maybe all of 30 years old. Maybe. I think he is classifing himself as semi-retired from SabreSpace. I hope not. He has some great insights. A bit of a man crush on Johnny Boy still, but Johnny does have that ginger ting* going for him.

MUST WIN !! GO SABRES !! In the NHL no game is an easy win, especially when the year turns and teams start to get into playoff mode. That said, the Panthers are a beatable team. They have huge issues and the Sabres need to take advantage.

The D more than showed up. They were huge at the hugest moments. The passing game was excellent. JA had a good completion ratio and if not for some key drops the Bills would have had 2 more TDs. It's a game of inches. Any time you have 2 receivers over 100 yards your passing game was not the problem. Again, IMO, the biggest issue was the Bills not having established a good running game. One Fin TD was while they were on D ... the forced fumble by JA and the fat guy scores a TD ... what can you do. Those things happen. You are correct that a divisional foe in the playoff is always a tough game no matter what.

Will you be going to the AFC title game?

Not at home they won't. Anyway, I think they will be playing the Jags. I still say the Ravens win tonight.

They won't be underdogs at home next week. I don't see them playing KC next week.
