I understand what you are saying and the logic except for the fact that for what Tuch brings he is very much underpaid in today's NHL market. If he was up for a new contract we would be talking 8 x $8 for Tuch too. Maybe a bit less since he is a winger and not a centre. The Sabres are not likely to find themselves in cap hell. Their best players are coming into big paydays just as the cap is most likely going to go up a lot.

I agree with everything you have said here except the bold. The D in the Superbowl era was not a bend don't break thing. Not until they got the the Superbowl, well at least the first two. I truely believe if they had won against the Giants they would have found a way to beat Washington in their second kick at it. The Bills were better than both. Both Cowboy games were utter disasters.

Basically the team is Josh, Diggs and Von. Take away Von and you have the other two that will win you 12 to 15 games in a 17 game regular season. Those 2 or even 3 are not taking you to the promised land. We have seen how far they can go in the playoff the last 3 years. It's time that the Bills stop buiding to win the AFC East and start building to win the AFC Championship and the Superbowl before Josh is finished his playing career.

All I am saying is that both sides know what Dylan or any other player is worth based on market value and that both will come to reasonable agreement that is fair for both. Dylan will be paid a lot of money. The Sabres will gladly pay it. My feeling is that Dylan will agree to a pay scale that is at the lower end of the market range. 8 x $8 for blazes sake !!
