I still think he will the best Sabre goalie since Hasek. Better than Miller. I don't think any others between Hasek and Miller were very good. In fact, there probably aren't any. Certainly better than any since Miller.

He was as big a part of the early success of the Sabres as anyone. Brilliant PR guy.

The fact that these two players said it carries significant weight in my mind. They are both young, but have been around different teams and coaches. I really do think that they are on to something here. Regardless of playoffs or not I really think that DG is a finalist for the Adams. I believe he has a good chance to win it.

Still ... NO !! If they start to play better again against the Ducks and Sharks they will be back on track. There are ups and downs for just aboout every team in the NHL during an 82 game season. The Sabres will be fine and will be playing meaningful hockey throughout March. When was the last time that happened?
