Huge win. That's all. -
Are the Sabres out of the running for the playoffs?
Sabres Fan in NS replied to inkman's topic in The Aud Club
Are the Sabres good again ?? Where have all the panicers gone ?? It's a long season. The Sabres will be fine. At this point I don't mind if they don't make the playoff. It would be fantastic if they did. The most important thing that I wanted to see this season was that they come together as a team, grow together and that they entertain the fans. They have accomplished all that, IMO. Sure, there have been ups and downs, but overall this Sabres team is coming together. -
Is HC Don Granato the right man for the job?
Sabres Fan in NS replied to GoPuckYourself's topic in The Aud Club
I like the coach. I think he is a good coach. I think that he will grow with the team. The coach and his palyers are learning to win together. I like that a lot. What I like best of all is that it's starting to appear that my *The Great Satan* is starting to catch on around here. Once again for the record ... I can't take credit for the term. It was started by a talk radio show host here in Halifax 15 or more years ago. To my knowledge I am his only listener to pick up the term and run with it. Dude ws born in The Great Satan and ended up going back to The Great Satan for his work. He recently passed away. Poor bugger. -

Post of the year !! Right down to The Great Satan. I'm proud of you, boy. So proud. -
Still worth every penny.

Nope. See below. It's not actually a Federal Holiday, so if you need a Passport that office is open. Mail will be delivered. The only exception to this rule are banks, which are Federally regulated, but closed today. Today is a provincial stat holiday in most, but not all, provinces. Riel was a true hero. Know your history Mr. Man(itoba) Man. Here in in NS it's NS Heritage Day and each year a selection is made from a long list of potential honourees This year it is Rita Joe Day. https://heritageday.novascotia.ca/content/2023-honouree-rita-joe A very worthy honouree.

How dare you compare my calm, cool and collected way of thinking to that other guy who was / is pretty much the exact opposite. Luksie may be worth a low second to the Sabres. All I am saying is they may be thinking of it. If I were KA I would be. I am not saying that he should rush into anything and do anything rash here, but it it comes to March 2nd and a half then maybe KA could get Luksie for maybe the Sabres 4th and a bucket of chicken wings. Extra spicy. (insert that winkie thingie here for my first sentence above)

You bet. Did you scroll all the way to the end of my post. You're good and I was jsut horsin' around. And your second point is spot on.
-
Is this just you messing with us ? Do you have a sourse for this ? Not questioning you per se, but this seems a bit like a fan tossing out his opinion, which is fine, but it may be a bit far fetched to say *Sabres still in on so and so* without some backup to it.

Any warm body that keeps Bryson and Kale out of the lineup is worthy of consideration, IMO. Luke may not bring a lot, but he is a warm body that would play before Bryson and that other guy. He also brings a hard nosed style with a lot of playoff experience, including 2 cups. I think I would do it for a 2nd since the Sabres have 3. How many players on the Sabres active roster have any playoff experience ? Off the top of my head ... Tuch and KO I think is it. Depending how everything works out I think I would sign him for next season at a $1M.
-
Does it have to be their own pick? Could they give up the dastardly Flyer or almost dastardly Vegas pick they got in trades? With three 2nds might the Sabres consider it?

Between 2 Stalls hosted by Jeff Skinner - LMAO!!
Sabres Fan in NS replied to matter2003's topic in The Aud Club
So funny. It was posted in another thread, but this is so cool that I like it here. It's easier to find this way when I need a laugh. Like just now. -
All hail the rugged Pilut. Bryson reminds me more of Minnie Mouse than Mighty or even Mickey.
-
A late 3rd or early 4th for Schenn ? That doesn't seem right. If that's the price WTF is Adams waiting for ?? It has to be that pick ++ a prospect or two or something. eh?
-
There's still time. He will demand a trade any day now.
-
The Matt Ellis of first line centres.

There is always that one dude that insists on throwing the turd in the punchbowl and ruins the party, eh. (insert winkie thingie here)

And the highest goal differential. In most real sports that is the first tiebraker. -

Say whatever you will about his term in office, but I don't think that anyone will argue that he was not a great ambassador for peace and humanitarianism since he left office. Please try not to bash him and his Presidency. It ended over 40 years ago. He is home with his family and receiving hospice care there and foregoing any further medical treatments. He has done more for the plight of the Palestinians than just about anyone. Not to mention Habitat For Humanity. Thoughts and Prayers. https://www.cbc.ca/news/world/jimmy-carter-hospice-care-1.6753516?cmp=rss

I knew that I could count on you. Some other super rich jackass has made an extra time announcement concerning Man U. At least he is English ... Sir Jackass. 6.5 Billion Pounds is so outrageous that it's beyond mind boggling.
