Too bad he hs no idea how awesome his post was, eh. Also sad in a way. Once again the Sabres were pretty close to almost veing on the cusp of something once again. @PASabreFan -
We all know what happened at the end of his rookie season too. Skimmed this beaut and my answer still is no.

Of course they shoud not fire him. They need to do something abut the goaltending and Dman depth. If I had a vote for the Jack Adams Granato would get it. It's nothing short of a miracle the Sabres are around NHL 500 and within pissing range of Deluca 500.

One of my favourites has retired from pro football ... https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/65037573?at_medium=RSS&at_campaign=KARANGA At 34 he still has a lot to offer. He took much abuse for plain old BS from fans. Dude has Turkish heritage and is a practicing Muslim for Pete's sake. Of course, he will be a supporter of Turkey. I love Turkey (the country) too and I don't get that kind of abuse.

My hope, as always, they fall out of the top 5 and just keep on going down the table.

Tuch and a number of others will lead this team. Tuch is a top flight player on this team and would be on many teams. Dahlin is a top flight player in the league. Top 2 D and would be top 1 if EK was not tearing it up like he is. Dahlin is very near, if not in, the top 10 players in the league. On top of all that he is developing into a great leader of this team. Dahlin will be C when KO does not return to the ice as a Sabre.

It has made it's way Nor'East of there and is here late this afternoon and has decided to stay the night. Good thing is went out this morning and ..

Tuch will be the inspiration for this team with or without a letter. The C will go to Dahlin if KO retires or goes to play elsewhere. I think he will retire. Tuch may will likely get an A, but he will not need it to lead this team. I would rather see Cozens get the A and Girgs who I think will resign for 2 years. Maybe Girgs will have the every game A and Tuch and Cozens will split the other A home and away or something. Tage will score goals either way. Same with Skinny.

For what it's worth Jeff Marek is still about as high as it gets on the Sabres train. Surprising for a guy that's got his balls stapled to the SN flagship station in The Great Satan. Just about every show he is in love with the Sabres and what coachie ad gmie are doing here. He is even on the 'Tage would be the Hart guy if it wasn't for that other guy' and the 'Dahlin would be the Norris if not for that last really good kick at it by that other guy' bandwagons. I like Jeff.

Are the Sabres out of the running for the playoffs?
Sabres Fan in NS replied to inkman's topic in The Aud Club
Still no. The Islander game hurt a lot, but they are not out of it. -
So it has come to the point where the Sabres have scraped the bottom of the D depth barrel.

Ramadan starts in two weeks. I have decided that I will not do a full fast this year. Some aging pains (nothing major) and emotional pains this past year and this being my busiest time at work all year have contributed to my decision to focus on other aspects of Ramadan (charity and prayer) and forgo the physical fasting. I believe Allah is most merciful. In conversation with @Taro T prior to Lent stating he was kind of the same mind. It seems that he has been active recently so it looks like he is limiting his Lenten fast also. I wish all who are observing Lent and the upcoming Easter celebrations in any way a very blessed season. Passover and Easter overlap this year. I wish all my Brothers and Sisters observing Passoever a blessed Holiday too. Eid will be April 20 or 21 depending on the cresent moon sighting, so about a week after Passover ends and about 10 days after Easter. It's nice, I find, when all are at the same time of year. My apologies to any other Holidays that I have missed that any are observing. Since I am very busy with work and life I will not be here as much over the coming weeks, but I will not be fasting from Sabrespace this Ramadan. I know @shrader, at least in a previous life, would be disappointed that I am not fasting, but we both have grown in the past 10+ years. GO SABRES!!

Very sad news. He was only 71. A hard life takes it's toll. My Skynrd would include Ronnie, Allen Bob, Leon, Ed, Billy and Gary. Toss in Atrimus for second drummer with Bob (The Allman Brothers always had 2 drummers) and Steve so that Ed could sometimes take on second base duties with Leon and sometimes guitar (on Freebird with his fantstic lead dual with Allen and Gary on slide and rythem). And, of course, the Honkettes from 1975 onwards. All gone, except Atrimus. So sad. Truth be told I have had no use for any version of the band after October 20, 1977. Funny they weren't from Alabama atoll. Jacksonville, Florida. Fantastic band.
