What the German National team did is just terrible. Mesut was still a baller then and could have run the mid-field very well for them, but no they needed to be stupid instead.

I grew up in The Great Satan, so I fell in love with the Jays once they started to field a good enough team to win some games .. around 1984. Prior to that I was a Yankee fan .. yikes !! I have always has a special place in my heart for the Expos too.

Not to mention Arsenal .. I will show myself out .........

All this talk of comparing Sabres and Vancouver and any other team that has never won a cup to teams that have makes no sense to me. I am no fan of The Great Satan or most other teams that have won the cup (the only other teams I like are Montreal - my wife is from there - and Pittsbugh - because of Mario and we lived there when they won their first two cups), but to say any of them are worthy of our ridicule and laughing at them just does not make sense to me. Cups (whenever and however) are always going to trump no cups and maybe a cusp (hey oh, @PASabreFan) or two. As for Dubas, good for him for orchestrating his exit. I don't really care where he ends up. I do think he is a good GM if he can spread his wings.

I boldly predict that Auston will be traded at the draft. He is part of the problem. One can never fire the players so get rid of the GM and / or coach.

DUDE!! Really. Fantastic. Will you be able to get to Sarajevo? Have a great time. I miss it very much. We have not been there for many years now. Mostar is great. A real mix of Bosniak and Croat. Not much of a Serb presence there, which is sad. It's a good time to go before the intense heat of July and August. Dry, but 40+ degrees.

Patrick is probably the best coach in the Q ever. He has QC at the top of their game. In the Q the top 4 made the semi-finals. Huge game in Halifax this afternoon. The home team has lost every game in this series up to this point. Sherbrook is a great team with an great coach. The Mooseheads did not get the same following this year as in 2013. They started slow, but had the second best season in team history (points wise). The Mooseheads are an offensive machine .. even better than in 2013 and their goalie is a keeper. They match up well against Quebec if they make the final.

Why do we need to re-hash all this? The proof is in the pudding. The *suffering* was a precurser to the dastardly. The worst decision by the Sabres. Ever.

Survived another tax season. I even took on a part-time role with Intuit as a tax expert. It was a lot of fun and learned a lot. They liked me too .. turned tax season contract into an extension for the summer and likely another after Labour Day to prepare for next tax season. The pay isn't great, but the steady pay cheque every other week is nice. Anyone that works for themselves will know what I mean. Did I miss anything exciting? It's a good thing they had that parade in The Great Satan after finally making it to the Quarter Finals, eh.
