  1. He was not there to score 'expected' goals (whatever that means). He is not here for that either.
  2. No not him. The other one.
  3. Savoie.
  4. Made it trough Lee. Call it whatever you want you damn scientists .. IT WAS A DAMN HURRICANE!!
  5. Sad to say it, but this has the very possible ring of truth. Hopefully, Levi is the real deal, but Dhalin is dealing with an extension before any of us are likely to know. That said, Dhalin is under contract for this season and is RFA on July 1. He does not have to sign until sometime after this season ends. Maybe he wants to see what happens.
  6. The fans are loyal and passionate as was the owner. The team never had a loss, but the writing was on the wall - rising salaries and weak Canadian dollar doomed them. The fact that they were the smallest market team in North American sports (except for the Packers - close enough to Milwaukee) and a Francophone city. Montreal had a large English Corporate base and still does, with English language TV, radio and newspapers. Sadly, the above is why there is not likely to be an NHL team in Quebec City ever again.
  7. Poor @Thorny must be pulling his hair out. Dude, they are not worth ruining the flow, eh !! The Jays stink again. Typical ball yard bullies - beating up on the weaklings, but when a real posse shows up they crap their pants and everything else.
  8. I'm not into analytics atoll, but thanks for posting this.
  9. Peters Twitter is like his NHL career ... he is looking to rile things up always.
  10. Probably would not have made a difference.
  11. So what? Who cares? Kid will be playing in the NHL. I feel it in my bones.
  12. At least this terrible topic is bringing out long-term MIAs out of the cobwebs. It is good to see two veterans, both of whom have been missed - at least by me - contributing. Racism is the scourge of the planet.
  13. You are both right.
  14. I voted for option #2, but feel he could end up being an option #2 and option #3 hybrid.
  15. With the arrival of Connor I think Joker is likely to be in his *perfect* role as a #5 or #6 (depending on your perspective) paired with EJ. At least for this coming season.
  16. In other news @Norcal (who is not even in Nor Cal any more) has dominated the from page in a posting frenzy.
  17. This stinks. Of course there is a denial. Not even directly from Mr. Pegula's legal team. To my knowledge there has never been any hint of racism in anything the Pegula's have said or done. Jerry Jones is a different story, although I have no knowledge of his past behavior either.
  18. In regards to @Thorny it was one reply to a post of his that pushed him away. EDIT: Actually it was not a direct reply to a @Thorny post, but shots were fired directly at him in a posted reply to another post in the thread in question. It's easy to find.
  19. In case yous all don't remember Patrick Roy's rookie year here's a hint - it was 1985/86. He startred very slowly and didn't seem like much and that he was not quite ready. By the time the playoffs rolled around he was ready - he won the Conn Smythe and the Stanley Cup.
  20. DAMN !! Missed it by -- that much. The big 3 in the AFC all went down on week 1. Week 1 often is poopie for the class of the league.
