The issue remains that the replacement players, while being pretty good, lack enough NHL experience. I will say that things are looking better. The D has 6 NHL players and then they are all inbetween AHL and NHL players. Especially, if Bryson is still considered the 7th D. If it's *little Johnson* then maybe we do have 7 NHL D. The arguement could be made that some of the starting skaters are not all NHL players quite yet. The goalie situation is only improved because 6K is playing like his pants are on fire. Will that last? Probably not. The depth on this team is better, but only because everyone is a year older. You know the depth is not what it should be when an 18 year old makes the opening night roster, as good as he is, and is still playing regularly 20+ games in.

Not to mention KA's biggest trade yet.

He is playing very well. We have to hope that continues. Seems like the season and the playoff depends on it. 6K is a good goalie, but a bit inconsistant at least until this year. That one diving stick save on that Jimmy guy, who has some moves, was of the Hasek highlight reel variety and definitely of the *we are not worthy* call.
