This is not a big deal.

Born in Toronto. Mother was from Buffalo. Have family there. Those are my ties to Buffalo and the Sabres and Bills. I have loved the Sabres from the start. My wife is from Montreal and we lived in Pittsburgh during their first back-to-back cups. Those are ties to the NHL teams in those cities. I'm not a fan of the NFL or MLB or NBA. That said, I do like when the Bills do well. Same for Blue Jays and Raptors, but am not a die hard fan of any of them. I love football (soccer) and follow MLS a bit, EPL a bit. I loved Man City when they had my favourite footballer on the roster back about 5+ years ago (Edin Dzeko). Now they are just like any other major club in the world and field the best team that $ can buy (usually foreign money now) I do follow the national soccer teams of Canada and Bosnia (my home away from home is Sarajevo).

It is a TSN Regional game, but if you have TSN coming in on the *pirate satellite* you will be able to watch / stream every NHL game, or so I'm told.

The Sabres will end up in WC1 or WC2. It would take a minor miracle at this point to end up top 3 in the Adams (or whatever they call it now) division. No major trades will happen, but Paddy Kane will be signed.

Cup Final to boot. As of now - Florida won that trade. Down the road if Levi becomes something then we would have a push probably.

This is problematic. I still think Josh is hurting. The play calling on O is terrible. The D is not standing any ground atoll. Something has to give, but I doubt it does before the season ends.

Didn't Holland build those great Red Wing teams? I suppose it's easier when you have an all world C and all world D and an old(er), but still all world G and a very good G before that. Edmonton really has nothing except 2 all world forwards. It's obviously not enough. I have no idea who the coach was, but as a casual observer he did not appear to be the biggest problem.

I am sure that you are right about no one thinking that we will ave any impact on anything. 500 is not good enough overall, but for now it's okay 15 games in. At last check (mid-night last night) the Sabres were 1 point out of WC. Changing coaches now will be counter productive. The most likely change is Paddy Kane in and Benson or maybe VO out. That would be a hoot too and it may not work. LOL at being decent. People get worked up into a lather and some become downright nasty about this stuff.
