NS reporting for duty, but I will be remote for a bit until later this afternoon. +++++ Just beat these guys. This afternoon these guys are the most dastardly of the dastardly. At all other time they are tied for first overall in the most dastardly contest with the Flyers. When the Sabres play the Flyers they become the most dastardly. AVENGE PARK!! MUST WIN!! GO SABRES!!

He is being paid millions of $s to play a game that he loves. I have had to do jobs that I have hated and not for anywhere near the pay. He should just shut the hell up and report for duty, whatever and wherever that is. EDIT TO ADD: Assuming no underlying health, or other, issues. As others have said, that seems unlikely. Me too. I agree with you and Inky that this is a good indication of a good team culture, but I am interested in short briefings, as well, from the other takers.

A key injury(s) can be devastating. I think Tallon does not panic. He is not the type and he has worked hard to build a pretty darn good team.

I am not comfortable with Tennsie still out there, but I don't think anyone is coming back just yet. The line combinations and D pairings worked well last game, but that was against a team of dogs. I don't see what other options the Sabres could try. MUST WIN!! Our pretty hot again Sabres travel to DC for a tilt with the defending champs. The Caps are plying well after a bit of a hangover from last spring. Guys, NYC is fine. Finer than fine. The Great Satan? Now that's a problem. As for Samson. I would rather have him on my team than just about anyone else in the NHL. I can count on one hand who I would take over him right now ... That guy in Edmonton and the 2 guys in Colorado and probably that guy in Winnipeg. Counting is not my strongsuit, but I beleive I have a finger left over.
