The EPL is so wierd. They will have weeks off for no real reason and now they are playing matches on no real rest. Most played on Dec. 29/30 and now are plaing today / tomorrow.

I have some 'New Years traditions', which I have finished up early this AM ... up and at it at 6:00 AM (Halifax time) and at my office by 9:00 AM, after a lollygag about morning of Turkish coffee. Anyway, firstly ... I love 'Boxing Week' in Canada. Everything is on sale, but I am not interested in any junk. Nope, but scored a very good deal on a case (12 cans) of Turkish coffee from our online Turkish Shop. This will keep us going for a while, especially since I ordered a full case about 3 weeks ago. +++++ My traditions ... 1.) Change the heads on my electric shavers ... check. 2.) Clean and organise my work space in my office ... check and double check. 3.) Clean up my email inbox and sent box ... check a rooney. 4.) Catch up on my filing ... check-a-rec-check. 5.) ... NS reporting for duty.

I don't believe that I have anything to do with the recent results, just as I don't think that I had anything to do with the winning streak. This is the NHL and it is a very, very fine line between winning and losing. I believe you are suggesting this in jest, but just the same I will sit on my hands for the next month (+). It will be hard since I have a head start on most of the board being on my own time (AST).

I voted for the recently much maligned Mittsie. That work that lead to the goal and that shot has me envisioning a lot of that in 1, or 2, years when the Sabres should be even better.

They have won some times when I start these things. I swear it. Look it up I am in a bit of a slump just like the team. I will let others try their luck, but I don't think it will matter. The Sabres are what they are. The score was 2 -1 last night and then an empty netter. The team seemed not to play too badly, but they needed to play lights out and they ran into a very motivated goalie, much like ROR against the Blues. What's up with Eich? Onward ...
