This is the way to look at it. We need to watch the 9th place team, whoever that is, and now it's the Islanders. The Sabres are in a playoff spot and playing well. With each passing day it is becoming more and more likely that the drought will end. The question, so long as the Sabres keep playing well, is in what spot will they be.

Not to mention the hinterland of NS. We are so far removed easterly that us and the tropical island of Newfoundland should be our own country, well maybe not country. A bit of historical info ...
