Sabres Fan in NS

He was a good, although not very skilled, soldier. Good enough to have a long career in the NHL. I have said it before and I will always remember what he did. He will always have a special place in my heart because he waived his NTC to come to the Sabres and not to go to Toronto when he was traded from Montréal.

Sorry. I will delete, but that will not help, as my post has been quoted many times. Ellis is very close, indeed. And not just in spelling. No doubt. Are you a USMC vet? My uncle was a WWII vet and had an army tattoo, which was an eagle. So, I am familiar with the symbolism of the eagle. It has been used as a symbol of strength down through the ages, as @... pointed out. In the miniature avatar it is clear that it is an eagle and I am not familiar with the emblem of the USMC. And with the skull the avatar looks very sinister to me. Again, my apologies and I meant no harm, or offense.

That's cool, but the eagle looks very similar to another eagle used by another organization. Ya know? I agree that Ellie has nothing on you in the GDT starting department. Is it Ellie, or Elie, or some other spelling?

Another thing in the video is that Jack looks around for the ref. He knew he did something bad and was looking to see if he got away with it, IMO. I really think the penalty was called correctly.

So, the sun is shining even though I went to bed with the Sabres sitting in 9th place in the east. Still better placement than I would have expected for January 13th back in October. I did not watch, nor listen to, nor stream the game. I did not watch the high(low?)lights. I have not read this thread. As I was falling into beddies last night I was listening to about 5 minutes of the talking heads on Sportsnet Hockey Saturday Night live from The Great Satan. I between their almost contstant bemoaning of the Leaves suffering another beating at the hands of the Bruins they said that, in their (sorry, I don't even know who they are) opinions the Sabres and TB was the best game of the night and was a hard faught match. The Sabres hung right with them until the end when Jack took a stupid penalty and the Lightning put on a 4 on 4 clinic and took the game. Is that true? If so, I do not feel badly at all.
