Is this by some 'urban dictionary' definition of jerk? PA has a way with words, but just because you don't like those words does not make him a 'jerk'.

You guys are pounding PA pretty hard here. I've pretty much agreed with all that he has to say about the fancy stats and have said as much, but nobody goes after me. Makes me wonder.

That's it, I think. Bergy lost his love for the game really and he was sick over it. He walked away from a lot of $. He walked away gladly. That means, at least to me, that Bergy really did loose his love of the game, where ROR really didn't. ROR lost his love for the Sabres.

The game starts at 11 PM here. I probably won't even make it to puck drop. I will be up at 6:00 AM tomorrow morning, as usual.

Why are you surprised? Is it based on the fact that the thing you sighted about Asians being bad drivers is not a stereotype? I don't think that PA wanted this to happen. I would like a dedicated thread on the main forum where analytics can be discussed. Since it is a hockey and Sabres directly realted subject I do not think it needs to in a Club off the main forum. I would vote for that option if it were presented in the poll. I don't read posts that are analytic in nature. This is because I don't really understand, or like. them. I like to trust my old eyes. It would not be difficult, I don't think, to keep the analytics comments out of a GDT, as they come about after the game ends, no?

This was a very good and entertaining game. The Sabres played a vastly superior team (on paper and in the standings) in their building and came out with the victory. That is awesome and really all that matters. If some choose to look at it in more detail then so be it. Onward ...

It already has been and not by me. @shrader I agree that discussion is good, but anytime this kind of thing comes to light there is not really much discussion, IMO. People are in their 'camps' and points are repeated. What I was thinking of adding, but didn't would have just been more gas on the fire and would have not been a benefit to any possible discussion.
