I think this completely and properly changes the definition of a 'rental' player. A team trades a pick for a player. Give them a try for a few months. If they don't like the way things worked out they trade the player back to the original team for the exact same pick.

You corrected a statement that was only incorrect in your opinion, but you missed @Samson's Flow point about the way you sounded doing it. IMO, you have sounded better of late, but not quite there yet.

I rewatched 'The Message' over this past weekend. It's on YouTube and is 3 hours long. It is accepted as accurate historically and Islamically (is that the right term?). It was pretty good, but it must have been hard to cram 23 years into 3 hours.

You are just like some of the commenters. Of course, the photo was 'staged'. The photog did not just happen upon 2 dudes playing around on a pond with the iconic Peggys Cove lighthouse as the backdrop on a beautiful day at sunset. The setting is spectacular in any event and that is the main thing.

Just a guess on my part, but I bet he was told, as a rookie, to concentrate on the defensive aspects of the game. I know that Rasmus II is also a rookie, but he is not in the same rookie class as Pilut.

If he signs with the Sabres 8 year term is a given. There has been some debate as to his value. There is also some concern with the contract year production increase. I don't think there has been anyone advacating not at least trying to sign him. Although, that TrueBlue guy (I think it is him) has a Skinner hate on, so he maybe 'that' guy. I think that covers it and I don't believe you that you have not been following along ... (wink-wink).

Sure we are encouraged to debate and disagree and voice opinions. There are countless threads for that kind of thing. It's just a long-standing tradition in threads that are clearly not for debating, or voicing contrary opioions in, such as this one, which it clearly is for fans of the allstar weekend festival ... we don't and just stay away if we are not interested in the subject matter. This is a very good post, except for the bolded, but I think it is meant to be tongue in cheekish. Maybe it's just sensitive old me. Anyway, I am on record as not wanting to trade any of our first round picks, but if Couturier was coming this way then I would do it. There are very few other players around that I would trade a 1st for.
