How long have you been married? It can't be so long that you rather go to a Sabre game with Woody than stay home with your wife and keep each other warm? I thought that they fired his ass?

It makes no sense to me. I have asked and people have said stuff. It still makes no sense to me. I really think that it's all just made up.

I am not sure how to post a link on my tablet, but the Tim Hortons guy (Ron Joyce), who was born and raised in NS, has kicked the bucket. Not a fan of the coffee, but RIP. He did a lot of good in the community.

Ullie should start because he played extremely well last game. Come on, Phil ... the season is on the line here, pretty much, so play the hot hand.

I have always found the date line thing rather confusing with how it works as you approach it from east, or west. I believe you are correct that he Sabres are right bang on Deluca 500. I always count the OT losses as ties, so ... stupid NHL. Why are the Hawks so bad? That lineup looks very good. Anyway ... onward ... MUST WIN!! GO SABRES!!

I would mortgage quite a bit of the future for a quickie. You may want to massage that last bit just a bit.

I think that it would be a noble jesture to try to get Pominville a cup, but on the other hand I think he would be just as happy to retire a Sabre at the end of this season. I don't think there is another contract in him even from the Sabres.

I see your point ... carry on. We invested in a snow blower 2, maybe 3, winters ago. I am too old and sore to shovel more than just a bit of snow and I still have to do the front deck and steps by hand. We went through about 5 snow plowers and shovelers. All were idiots ... one guy put his shovel through our front window and still wanted to be paid. It's skilled work, I get it, but it's not rocket science work either. Last winter I think I used it twice. Not once (yet) this winter. It's like insurance. That said, I did use it a lot the winter we got it.

@SABRES 0311 I agree with a lot that you are saying and the Sabres are very close to a playoff team, but the 10 gamer plays a large part of that. One issue ... within the last 3 years of Jack's current contract? Man, that is another 4, or 5. years. Yikes!! (winkie - winkie)

I agree with you completely and with the other posts in this thread, except one, so far ... Of course, this could happen, but a 10 gamer is less likely at this point in the season. Last night is a perfect example of what the Sabres will run into more often ad the season winds down. I will politely disagree that this was supposed to be a playoff year with the way things have worked out. That said, when the Sabres made the decision the timing was to have us at, or very near, the playoff this season. It did not work out that way and stuff happened to mess with the timing and the plan.

This post is a perfect summary of the Sabres this season. Ullie deserved better, but Dallas played a perfect game and it still was only 1 - 0. The Sabres are going to have a hard time from here on out, as teams play more of a playoff style game, which the current Sabres are not quite where they need to be in order to play that way.
