Since PH has basically given up on having Samson centre his own line ... those lines are not terrible.
-
Just a guess on my part, but I bet he was told, as a rookie, to concentrate on the defensive aspects of the game. I know that Rasmus II is also a rookie, but he is not in the same rookie class as Pilut.

I have been to this pond many times ... https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/nova-scotia/hockey-at-peggys-cove-lighthouse-photo-instantly-iconic-1.4941550

1 more sleep ...

That's better. I knew there was something missing. Vogl is still a clown, though, eh?
-
Yup, I'm thinking both parts of my edit are true ... Eichel and Skinner are still MIA in northern California. So, Samson is teamed up with those 2 stiffs.
-
And ......... ?
-
What the heck does this Vogl clown mean by 'Skinner gone'?

If he signs with the Sabres 8 year term is a given. There has been some debate as to his value. There is also some concern with the contract year production increase. I don't think there has been anyone advacating not at least trying to sign him. Although, that TrueBlue guy (I think it is him) has a Skinner hate on, so he maybe 'that' guy. I think that covers it and I don't believe you that you have not been following along ... (wink-wink).

Sure we are encouraged to debate and disagree and voice opinions. There are countless threads for that kind of thing. It's just a long-standing tradition in threads that are clearly not for debating, or voicing contrary opioions in, such as this one, which it clearly is for fans of the allstar weekend festival ... we don't and just stay away if we are not interested in the subject matter. No worries, though. I wouldn't want anything bad to happen to anyone. That said, some of the posts in this thread have been, shall I say, a bit off-topic.

Get used to it, I think. I am almost certain that G.B. said in an interview beforer the final game last night that this was a trial for that. It's all about 'enhancing the game experience for the fans' who are watching on TV / Internet. Did they not try this same kind of thing years ago with that stupid lazer puck thing?

It looks to me like they are sharing something on the phone. You know, photos, video ...

Woodsie, I think I was on that same rooftop terrace in Istanbul. Nice hookha. Is that a freakin Man U jersey you have on? Nice coffee ... Glad you are wearing shorts in the bath house man.

The natives are restless ... When do the Sabres play again?
-
No worries, man. You're all good.

This is a very good post, except for the bolded, but I think it is meant to be tongue in cheekish. Maybe it's just sensitive old me. Anyway, I am on record as not wanting to trade any of our first round picks, but if Couturier was coming this way then I would do it. There are very few other players around that I would trade a 1st for.

Is this thing still on? tap-tap ... +++++ I have lost count, but it has been a large number of Fridays since Friday, October 5, 2018.

How could anyone not love Jeff Skinner? He always has a big smile on his face and he is like a kid on a pond. Always looks like he is having more fun than should be allowed. Sadly, that is mostly missing from the NHL game.

No one is forcing you to come into this thread and moan, eh. Why not just stay away and let others enjoy themselves and the event?

English Premier League 2018-2019

Because they changed managers from one that had completely messed up and they are winning against bottom half of the table sides? No, I will still have my fun. Although, at this point a top 4 finish is not out of the question based on the 3 and 4 sides being just about as stupidly managed on the pitch as Man U was. That would truly be the most disappointing outcome of the season, IMO. -
He didn't draft Eich either.
-
Man, I didn't remember Potvin being such a good scorer.
-
Coffey was a great puck mover and scorer. One of the best ever. Only one better, IMO, was Orr. I would like a good mix of Coffey in there, as well. I don't think Paul controlled the game in the same way as Potvin, or Pronger. I would like to see Dahlin able to do that. I really think that he will.
-
OK, so which one of you yahoos is robo-calling my office and cell from North Carolina (again)? Is that the right price? Or, the Price is Right?
-
My hope is that Dahlin's growth will not be in scoring, but as he matures and learns the game he will dominate the league in the way that he controls the game. Like in more of a Potvin, Pronger and Chara way, but much better scorer than any of them.
