Speaking of which, when was the last time Skinny scored? In a hockey game, that is. -

The last page of this thread is worse than anything during the tank years. Guys and gals lets just remember that we are all the same. It makes no difference if you are posting your first post, or you are on your multiple thousandth post ... we are all Sabre fans. -

Very impressive work here, duda. Some of those guys on the 'in' list I don't even remember. Leier? One small correction, though. You forgot to also include Bergsie on the 'out' list. -

This must be the HNIC early game in Eastern Canada, eh? -

I believe this to be the case, with maybe a shift, or period thrown in. Not really enough time to really judge and to see if he can develop as a centre. The problem is he seems to be a more natural RW at the NHL level. Which is great, but I would like to really know if he could be a centre too. -

Didn't the Sabres just play these bums up there in The Great Satan? I thought this was a bumped thread, but then saw only 12, or something, replies. The Sabres are NOT that bad to have only 12 relies in GDT for a game a few days ago. Here we go again ... MUST WIN!! GO SABRES!! -
What a great game. This team is pretty darn close. This coming offseason will be fun, but also stressful in that JBOT really needs to hit a few homers here ... bating practice is over. Now it's for real. Put me in coach ...
-
So, you're telling me there's a chance, eh? GO SABRES!!

He may, or may not be scratching his head about the bolded. He is not European, I presume. I know exactly what you mean, my friend.

So sorry for you that the Thursday thread locks automatically. Just kidding, of course. Have fun. +++++ The sun is shining here and the deep freeze is not quite as deep. We are having a lot of success selling our junk (calm yourself, Inky) on eBay and kijiji. Even sold my big steel bankers style desk. I will have to complete tax season on crates, but when money talks, I listen.

Defense Next Year - Could we see major change?

I don't think there will be any changes to the D this offseason, other than switching out of the 8/9. D was addressed at the trade deadline and improved. I believe the focus will be on forwards at the draft and free agency and trades. -
Thanks, chz, for getting us going. A thankless job, indeed. MUST WIN!! GO SABRES!! I think our guys come out flying and play a full 60 minutes. The Pens are struggling somewhat and the Sabres take advantage. 5 -2 .......... WIN!!

Wow!! Terrible week for you. During the Leaves game in the GDT there was some heated stuff going on and I asked and was told that one was in timeout as a result. The other has not been seen since.

How bad is Tage? Should he be in Rochester?
Sabres Fan in NS replied to LGR4GM's topic in The Aud Club
Yup. Good times. You remember what the commentator said after Mad Max scored in OT ... *out of the doghouse and into the winner circle* ... something like that anyway. So, Max was having his issues and Lindy benched / sat him, or something ... where in the blazes is Taro when you need him. He has a mind like a steel trap. He remembers everything. -
Too soon, IMO.

When will we not be known as Winnipeg of NS? The thermostat just went under for the third time ... hey, oh @PASabreFan ... speaking of whom. Is he in timeout too?

Sabres Fan in NS replied to LGR4GM's topic in The Aud Club
What the heck is GAR? Never mind. I don't think I really want to know. I think Tage (still think that is a pretty silly name, but it is kind of growing on me ... Tagesie has a bit of a ring to it) will be fine, but he could use some time in Rochester. -

Just a terrible post which attacks many posters ... one directly. -
That's great. Someone is very talented. The American Sandwich bread had me going for a second, but what US bread calls itself that. Upon zooming there is some Cyrillic script. I can't tell what language it is, though. It does not look Russian, or Serb. Maybe Ukrainian?

Site will be down for a few hours 2/27, 2 pm
Sabres Fan in NS replied to SDS's topic in The Aud Club
I had the best post ever and when I clicked on the submit button ... boom!! Site down for maintenance. The best post ever and it is lost. All gone. SDS, if you have some spare time could you look for it for me. Thanks. -
Let me be the first, and probably only one, to tell you that Rear Balls Creek is a real place and it's awesome. Is you last name 'Balls' a tribute to your adopted home town, or a shout out to any number of former, possibly current, Sabre players? Maybe you just liked the sound of it so much that you had to use it as your name and not just location, eh?

Canada's Watergate
Sabres Fan in NS replied to Sabres Fan in NS's topic in The Oval Office (Politics)'s Topics
I have not had time to follow in detail, but it seems that Trudeau has waived his ACP in order to allow his former AG and Minister of Justice to speak before a House of Commons Justice Committee. That's pretty big. The former AG has a retired Supreme Court Justice advising her. Trudeau has the best lawyers $ can buy, of that I am certain. I'm making the popcorn now. This should be good, but then nothing will come of it.
