Forget about promoting Taylor. They should promote NS. I am not quite old enough to be a re-tread. And besides re-treads do work out. Last time I glimpsed a headline the Islanders were doing alright. That said, the guy named after what a horse does is not really a re-tread. Really, though I do not want the Sabres taking a risk on another rookie NHL coach, unless everybody else says no to the job. Then it should go to me by default. Anyway, the natives are restless and just not satisfied ... ?

Paris is lovely this time of year. We have been a few times and the city will never be the same. Notre Dame has survived so much and it will be rebuilt, but it will never be the same. It truly was at the heart of Paris and the centre of the city.

Official invitation to join the Football Club has been sent. It's my club, so I can invite who I want. I have not had to throw anyone off the island, yet. Actually, we are a very good bunch in there. It's not like some other clubs ... ?

I invite you to join the Soccer / Football Club over in the Clubs section of the site. There are many fans of lesser football clubs crying over there. Not me ... I jumped on the Liverpool bandwagon after jumping off of the Man C bandwagon. A few scrapes and bruises, but I didn't break any bones with all that jumping off and on the bandwagons.

Our roof needed to be done, but we tried to squeeze out one last winter (2015). That winter was unusually snowy and icy. The roof barely made it through and we were lucky that the wood below the shingles was still in good shape.

Things are moving along nicely. Had a very nice call with our bank manager this afternoon ... ? Well and septic (I am not a fan, to say the least, of septic tanks) inspections are scheduled for Wednesday (our agent is taking care of that). House inspection is scheduled for Thursday. I will be there for that one ... clipboard and pen(s) ready. Insurance in place. Lawyer has reviewed agreement and other docs sent by seller / seller agent. All is good, so far. It is looking more and more like this is happening.

OK. Enough already, I'll do it.

Scotty, I am no doctor and I don't even play one on SabreSpace, but I know how to pray. 5 times a day and extra when ever I feel the need ... like now. Done.
