I don't hate them at all. I actually feel they are a great story this playoff and hope they win the cup. Now, don't get me started on those dastardly Flyers and equally dastardly Bruins.

Sure, they can make some kind of deal, but that won't end the entitlement sense some of the players have. What you are proposing makes sense to the teams and the PA won't give a fiddler's fart either way, as you stated. So, the teams will have an extra year to fool around and then the entitled player still won't sign. No big deal, there, eh?

Do you really think the NHL will eliminate the sense of entitlement that some of these kids have?

That is terrible and stressful. We are carrying both houses for as little time as possible, which is scary enough, but we are extremely fortunate to not have a mortgage on our first home. I hope it all works out for you.

Stranger things have happened, was it not just last season that an unknown won? Also, it has not been that long that Norwich has been relegated, eh? I am seriously contemplating throwing my support to Norwich. It's easy to root for a side like Man C, or Liverpool. Does Norwich have any players that I would know? +++++ In other news, not really NHL related, but what the heck, eh? The Mooseheads are playing in the Q final, so both teams will be going to the Memorial Cup no matter who wins it. Halifax is hosting the Memorial Cup this May and The Huskies will have an automatic birth even if they lose the final to Halifax. A true win - win situation if there ever were one. Bump ... The Canadian Premier League kicked off today with the Halifax Wanderers playing in Victoria, I think. Halifax home opener is next weekend, I think. It's sold out. They role out a 1,000 seat bleacher thing on The Wandering Grounds and play football in front of it. People here are actually excited about this, which is great. For the first time in what seems like forever we slept well and woke without knowing we had to deal with this, or that, some deadline, or other. The sweet sleep of victory, not that this was especially adversarial. I really believe that if we could have met the sellers at the house over coffee we would have had a deal in place on a handshake in about half an hour. I often think that realtors are around to just muddy the waters and get paid a whole lot of $ to do nothing atol, but make problems. Fortunately, in our case calmer heads prevailed.
