What are you driving? What's next?
Sabres Fan in NS replied to ubkev's topic in The Auto Club's Topics
I love driving a stick shift. My first car was a 1987 Mustang - 5 spd. Awesome!! One on my favourite and easiest stick to drive (the clutch was as smooth as velvet) was an Opel Astra that we rented in Croatia one time. I almost bought it and shipped it home. -
Your predictions: what is Botterill going to do?

EHLERS!! ? -
I didn't know that Jeremy Lin(sanity) was on the active roster for the Raptors. He has been through so much. Glad he has a championship to his credit.

My everyday car is 2016 Corolla. Got a very good deal on it and its just about paid for. |It's a very good and mechanically sound car that will be going for another 10 years, at least. The problem is it's 'just a car'. I am very first in line for a friends 1994 Acura Legend (my wife's 'twin'). One fine day that will be it, at least for the summer. I'm not sure about 2 summer cars, but what the heck you only live once. Everyday car ... I have my eye's out for a Suburu of some sort. The standard AWD intrigues me. -
You know the reasons. It was clearly explained by the locker. I can't blame her. In the last several days the discussion had drifted so far a field it was hard to read, which I had given up on. +++++ My complaint is just about a frustrating situation, which pales in comparison to our friend @Derrico, so I won't bother, especially since it is sorted out.

Welcome home!! There were several times during your absence that I suggested we just pay the ransom. It's different when it's your own family. -
Easy ... 1992 Acura Legend. British Racing Green. Tan leather (it runs smooth on the passenger seat ... ? - paging @Sabel79). Mint condition and extremely low miles. Yup. I will be driving it Friday.

It's a full moon, or just gone past full to still be in that full moon after glow.

I think Bottsie will sign Perry to a very cap friendly deal. 3 years $17.5 million. I think he will trade McCabe and stuff for a top 6 winger. He will keep the #7 and pick someone completely off the radar. Samson will be the #2 centre we have all dreamed of ... granted that will not happen in the time frame outlined by our crazy Canuck in the OP. Perry will be his sniping winger. Risto will not be traded. I could keep going. I am full of it tonight and I miss my lovely bride. We will see each other tomorrow night, so I will not be reporting for duty, maybe not until Monday ... -
In my best cryin' Nancy ... why, why, why ... ... did he quote that extra long beaut, eh?
-
He needs a date really bad, eh?
-
I did not say sheltered, but whatever. He needs to be used in way to take advantage of the very good skills he has to offer. He has never had that in Buffalo for his entire career. On a good Sabre team he is #3 on a very good Sabre team he is #4.

@5th line wingnutt, Is that your ranking of the whole draft? Damn!!

A veteran RHD on a fantastic contract. Sign me up to trade for that guy. What's that? Oh, yeah ... the Sabres have one. Never mind ... In other words, I hope the Sabres do not trade Risto, at least not anytime soon. There were issues on D last year, but Risto really was not that big a part of the problem in itself. The Risto factor in the D problems was how he was utilized, which I don't think the Sabres ever have done a good job at. Risto was always put into bad situations, because the Sabres had no other choice.

No question. There was never any reason to think that such a corrupt organization as FIFA would ever think of trying to make things right.

So, who else thinks that @Richard Noggin is our 'deep throat'?

To quote a great man ... 'I was in the pool! ... I was in the pool!!' ...

We are paid to way over think things around here. Well, not paid, so we do it for kicks, or something,

I have to believe that chz took the post not in the intended way. It was worded in a way that could be read as she did, especially as a female. I admit that I was thinking of giving the original poster a blast until I read the post very carefully a few times. I then was comfortable in that @Neo had the right take. We are expected to call them out when needed. Thanks @SwampD, although the 'to quote a great man' part was not needed, IMO.

Well, it's about time ... https://www.cbc.ca/sports/soccer/worldcup/uefa-president-michel-platini-arrested-1.5179498 I'll bet both our houses and what ever else I have that after a few softies they release him. That crook.

I gave you a cup thingie for that great edit. I love Kawhi. -
You posted this 35 minutes ago .. tick, tick ... (insert winkie-winkie thingie here)

I think if you exclude the ROR trade then there is no doubt that Bottsie has done a very good job. He has won, IMO, the 2 other big trades. He signed Skinner to a market value contact (oh, wait, that's right you are not a Skinner fan, if I recall correctly). Drafting we shall see.

Well, now ...
