So, maybe our thoughts on what journalist and journalism means is a bit different than some of the younger posters. Anyway, whatever the young lady is going to be doing, good for her. @jsb, why the confusion thingie? Mick Jones and Joe Strummer worked together on a number of the songs on the BAD second album. V Thirteen was only released (as far as I know) by BAD. EDIT TO ADD: With so many of the songs on the 10 Upping Street album written by Jones and Strummer I often think of it as an unofficial Clash final album. Maybe @Sabel79 could back me up on this?

Number 5 on the all time scoring list. A key role on the first 2 Penguin cup teams. Dominant in a long career at a point per game over his whole career. Not quite a point per game in his playoff career = top 10 all time to me. If he had come to the Sabres instead of going back to Hartford / Carolina in 1998/99 I really feel that we would have had our cup in the spring of 1999.

LOL @Ho-Chi-Sock the actor who plays Ho-Chi-Sock on SabreSpace. The rest of your post is an interesting take too. Murray's biggest issue, IMO, is that he overpaid on just about every deal he made. Maybe he had orders to step up the rebuild process? Other than that he seems to live up the ZFG thing and was a very loose cannon.

He certainly has the HOF player thing happening. Probably top 10 all time, but he was run out of Carolina after spending most of his career in that organization going back to The Whale days. I really do miss The Whale. Time will tell, but a lot is going to depend on how they manage the expansion draft. If he can come close to replicating Vegas then he will be off to a head start.

I agree, he is more talented than Mikey, but he still is not the most skilled on the Sabres. He almost always puts in his best effort, though, just like Mike. And he is mean.

I am fine with it. I am in the camp that does not want Risto traded. That's not to say that I would not welcome it if it improved the team in an area of need, which is a top 6 forward, preferably a centre, but not absolutely a requirement.

This is sad. I wonder about a history of concussions and the aftermath in dealing with them. There is no real information coming out, but it appears that another former NHLer took his own life. Good man. One small point. The situation with the mother and others that do what she did is her being the best mother that she can be, IMO. She knows that you folks will take better care of the precious child than she is able, so she left it in your care, which is better than many other options available to her. Maybe it was an unplanned pregnancy, which is often the case in these situations.
