It's a long weekend in NS (Natal Day), as is the case in most of Canada. I don't really care about the rest of Canada (not really) ... I will be spending 3 fantastic days with my lovely bride and we are going to try our darndest to relax and enjoy ourselves at the new house. I really think that we have earned it.

Thanks. We are doing some research and it seems that it may be that my wife has an abnormally high histamine level and not just from the birch, but something is affecting her at the new house. Some time ago our new(ish) neightbour, who is a ND thought my wife and many of her ailments were summed up as histamine intolerance. Our GP suggested the only way to combat it is with traditional antihistamines, which some studies are starting to show negatively impact some of the worst symptoms of high levels of histamine ... depression, anxiety, OCD etc. There are better / natural ways to reduce histamine, which we are starting to explore.

Sorry, my pager needs a tuneup. The origin of The Great Satan was a morning talk radio show host years ago here in Halifax. I have been carrying on that great tradition for years after he moved on. Suffice to say that the whole country of Canada, maybe the whole world and the world beyond believe that Toronto is so terrible in every way that we all call it that. I have lived there and can say that it is the most terrible place ever.

The two threads are pretty much the same discussion and could be mereged. It is actually pretty confusing to have both going. That said, I confuse very easily.

Hello, hello. Testing 1 - 2 - 3. Is this thing on? Can you hear me now? While it pales in comparison to many much more worthy complaints ... It is starting to really look like my lovely bride and I are too old for this and may have bitten off a bit more than we can chew. In the end things will work out fine ... we hope. On top of my wife's othe chronic health issues we have found out (the hard way) that she has allergies to Birch pollen, which have manifested themselves in not the usual way. Who knew? We had not even thought of anthing like this being a thing. Our new lot is so close to the ocean that the one type of tree that grows really well is Birch.

Very reasonable. I actually thought it would be for a bit more. Why only 1 year?

I like your new avatar, I think. What shade is the blue? It looks great, but the blue thing ... For the record, I don't really care what colour the uniforms are, so long as the players wearing them put in a good effort and start to win. That's all I ask.

@PerreaultForever, maybe it's just me and it has been many times just me, but I don't think that your new avatar will sit well with many female and male posters here, myself included ... +++++ To the matter at hand ... It is early to tell for sure, but IMO JBOTT started from less than zero, as he deemed his version of the Sabres would be pretty much the exact opposite of Murray's version. He deemed that he had to undue most of what Murray did and start over, so this has gained him condsiderable time for me anyway. Is this his third offseason? I can't remember. Either way, for me he has this coming season and the next before I really start to think about it.
