Yup. I did not count this offseason. His first 2 he was mostly undoing stuff Murray did to get the team and roster to this offseason, where he is massaging the roster. 2 more offseason after this one and then the Sabres better be in the playoff that following season, unless it is undone by something out of the GM's control.

The Fourth Annual Sabrespace Meet Up?
Sabres Fan in NS replied to tom webster's topic in The Aud Club
That must be your tip for the outstanding service. -
To continue with the non-sleeping theme. Last night I fell into bed at 3:30 AM (ADT) and fell a sleep imediately, which is the best result of the 3 nights. Up and at it again at 6:00 AM (ADT). Monday ... finally drifted in and out at 4:30 after several restless hours of ferriting about. Up at 6:00 AM. Tuesday ... see Monday. MUST SLEEP!! GO SABRES!! +++++ Now onto more important matters ... Will keep @Brawndo and @North Buffalo in my prayers. It's almost Eid al Adha (Sunday will be day #1), so I tend to pray extra at the Eids.

I think this is a reasonable approach. Fans seem to think that JBOT has simply carried on where Murray had left off, which puts us heading into year 5 since drafting Eichsie. JBOT spent 2 offseasons undoing much of what Murray had done and getting to a starting point for what he envisioned the Sabres to be. IMO, JBOT will be safe for 2 more offseasons, unless there is a complete disaster that is not the result of injuries.

I upgraded one laptop from 7 to 10 when they that free upgrade thingie some time ago. It was a good laptop to start with, so there have been no big issues. It was running Windows 7 Professional, after all I do have hard earned letters (CPA) after my name, so that means something. Maybe that makes some difference. My other laptop came with Windows 10 Professional factory installed. It is a great machine with this wierd hickup yesterday. It finally finished the update some time ago and I reinstalled the tax software using my first download. So far, so good. In general, with the ever lowering cost of a decent computer, I say it is better to buy a new one than to upgrade the version of Windows on the darn things. The one that I upgraded from 7 to 10 is primarily for email and SabreSpace and my own business tracking software, with occasional client work, primarily using Excel. The one that came with Windows 10 installed is the primary client workhorse now with the bulk of accounting, tax and other junk done on it.

Woof!! Oh, that dead poet that I quoted is very well known. Anyway, @jsb, I think you are just playin'. As it turns out my memory is just a bit off. Man, what a poet. One of the greatest of all time, IMO.

I don't have an issue with Windows 10. I do like it and it works well. The problem I have is with Microsoft, especially an update taking 24 hours by the time it is all done. i know that the computer can be used during the download and installation part, but that only slows the process down even more. PEBKAM?

The line starts with ... 'the way things are going' then continues with ... 'anything can happen'. What a fantastic poet. Passed on to the next life way too young, as many do. Bonus if you know which poet.

I can't remember who it was, but a regular poster here and myself are big Windows 7 people. Is that you? Anyway, with end of support for 7 looming I have been reluctantly forced to migrate my office PCs to Windows 10. I just checked and this laptop is due for a massive Windows 10 update. This PC (Toshiba) I converted to 10 from 7. I also have an HP that has Windows 10 factory installed and it is in the process of running this massive update for 10. It has been downloading and installing and now configuring since about 7 PM last night. What a horror show. On top of that the HP, well Microsoft Security for 10, decided that it did not like the 2018 tax software that was installed and running beautifully since the end of 2017. Keep deleting the files to run it, as it seemed that a Trojan was attacking my PC through the software. What entire BS. I hate Microsoft!! I have a Toshiba running Windows 7 that will remain as a data base. I also have an old desktop that is running Windows XP (the only version that I really likes a lot) that is an office server, with no real Internet, although it needs to be 'connected' in order to be that server. I am not going to run this massive 10 update on this PC until I can't avoid it anymore and firgure what is happening with the HP. As a fall back I can use the 7 Toshiba to work on client taxes and such.

Correct. The kid from Cole Harbour, NS is still at the top of any list, IMO. And then a random 9 to fill in the blanks ... many to choose from, but no dastardly Bruins, or equally dastardly Flyers.

Sabres Fan in NS replied to Brawndo's topic in The Aud Club
8. Skinny, the tooth and I would be under Marty's spell binding tales and we would not even get to say a word, which suits me fine when I am stuffing my snout. Yup. -

English Premier League 2019-2020

Even though my favourite footballer since the last WC is Mohamed Salah I can't fully support a big name club. So, Norwich it is. MUST WIN!! GO CANARIES!! -

Football season already? Where does the time go. Any key transfers during the summer? I can't even remember if the summer is a transfer window? I am fully on board with Liverpool, I think. Maybe it's time to team up with @Eleven and follow the little brightly coloured birdies from Norwich. -
EHLERS!! ? (several sightings over the last 2 pages)

No. Wrong. No one is anywhere near as handsome as Freddie. And Freddie never had ink done. That look on AM, or anyone, is just terrible.

It's a long weekend in NS (Natal Day), as is the case in most of Canada. I don't really care about the rest of Canada (not really) ... I will be spending 3 fantastic days with my lovely bride and we are going to try our darndest to relax and enjoy ourselves at the new house. I really think that we have earned it.

Thanks. We are doing some research and it seems that it may be that my wife has an abnormally high histamine level and not just from the birch, but something is affecting her at the new house. Some time ago our new(ish) neightbour, who is a ND thought my wife and many of her ailments were summed up as histamine intolerance. Our GP suggested the only way to combat it is with traditional antihistamines, which some studies are starting to show negatively impact some of the worst symptoms of high levels of histamine ... depression, anxiety, OCD etc. There are better / natural ways to reduce histamine, which we are starting to explore.

Hey, @dudacek, what the heck are those thingies at the end of Priority 3 and Priority 4? I am using Windows 10 now, but still don't see very well. Thanks.

So, @Samson's Flow, although you will always be @Touched By Boyes to me, what have they done to your Blue Jays?
